Backed by the majestic Troodos Mountains, Limassol consists of three main areas with all having access to the sandy/pebbly beaches with numerous water sports. A visit to places of interest in and around the city would include the magnificent setting of the ancient Curium Theatre, Kolossi Mediaeval Castle and Limassol Castle which houses the Cyprus Medieval Museum.
