Parga is without doubt the most attractive resort on the mainland with its whitewashed, red-roofed village houses surrounding the picturesque harbour. It nestles in a small bay between green olive groves and the sea. Despite its charm and beauty, its tourism industry thankfully remains low key which is Parga's real appeal. Its narrow, flagstone streets are brightly coloured houses and draped with bougainvillea and aromatic jasmine.

For the more adventurous, Epirus is easily accessible along with boat trips to Paxos. Parga is also an ideal base for short trips to the surrounding villages of Aghia, Anthoussa and Trkastro, which are perched on plateaux above the fertile, mountainous countryside.

There are two golden sandy beaches either side of the main harbour front, as well as a varied choice of tavernas and bars.
