The Aucanada Apartments complex is located in the northwest of Mallorca, in one of the quietest areas of Bahía de Alcudia. The views are enchanting of the pretty shingle beach 30 metres away, just the other side of a small pine forest.
Rooms here are simply but functionally furnished, spacious and clean, and all overlook the attractive swimming pool - convenient for keeping an eye on children old enough for a taste of independence. You'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay where the schedule is yours to set. The kitchenette incorporates a hob, fridge and kettle, and toasters, microwaves and cool boxes can be rented from reception. A small, on-site supermarket sells the essentials for knocking up a quick meal or, alternatively, enjoy a hamburger, sandwich or salad from the Aucanada's own restaurant. They also offer traditional Mallorcan fare for an authentic Spanish experience. To ring the changes, another restaurant close by is a good choice and a lovely spot from which to admire the view.
The area has much to attract holidaymakers. Trips to the famous bird sanctuary located close by and to the old Roman town of Pollentia as well as Alcudia harbour are all available. It is only 2 kms into the town centre with its abundance of shops, cafés, bars, restaurant and lively nightclubs - a mere hop on the bus service departing from the front of the apartments. So nights out can be as lively as you like while back at your apartment you're away from the revelry and a peaceful sleep is guaranteed.
