Our opinion: A large complex offering every activity imaginable, ideal for fun loving families and couples.Family holidays only really work when each member is happy and here at the extensive Apartments Hotetur Club Bellevue complex, there is something for every age. On site you'll find 8 swimming pools, 7 tennis courts and squash courts, mini-golf, go karts and a choice of places to dine. If organised entertainment is what you like, a wide programme is on offer for children and adults, including shows performed on the large outdoor stage. Just a ten-minute walk from Alcudia's lovely, wide, sandy beach, the hotel is comprised of 17 buildings set in acres of fabulous greenery beside the Esperanza Lake, where rooms are spacious and well equipped. It has the feel of a self-contained town - everything's here - and it's perfectly possible it won't occur to you to go off site during your stay. If it does, however, it's a simple matter to hire a car or bicycle and set off to explore the enchanting environs; hotel parking is free. The local town of Alcudia is of historical interest with its Roman ruins, ancient walls and traditional street markets, and nearby are waterparks, sailing and plenty of examples of areas of outstanding natural beauty. Families are especially appreciative of Club Bellevue's activities team, dedicated to burning off every ounce of energy from toddlers or teens, leaving mums, dads and grans free to do their own thing. Groups of young people also find their holiday wish list fulfilled by the inclusive, villagey feel with the choice of bars and restaurants, and the numerous ways to fill the days.
Botel Alcudia Mar
Our opinion: Luxurious accommodation in a stunning location at the water's edge.Loyal guests describe this as the one of the best hotels in the port of Alcudia - a fabulous complex set in more than 5000 square metres of tropical gardens directly by the sea The Botel - so named to suggest a cross between a boat and hotel, though it is not afloat - is in the midst of the marine area, with its seafood and paella restaurants and a sublime view of the bay. There is direct access to a small beach and the main sandy stretch, just 100 metres away, takes you all the way round the bay. The beautiful pool and terrace are right at the sea's edge with plentiful loungers guaranteeing somewhere to bask in the sunshine. A snack bar with steps to the sea is on hand to keep the refreshments coming. Morning buffet is a spread to behold, including such traditional English favourites as bacon and eggs, but also fruit, ham, cheese and champagne, pancakes and toasted sandwiches. So it is just as well that there is a gym on site to burn up the calories. Reward your virtue with a soothing massage to complete the treat. When the evening comes around, excellent restaurants sit harbourside, or you can walk into town to find your favourite food, be it Indian, Chinese or Italian. The welcome is warm from an efficient staff making it their business to cater for guests' needs. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and suites are available with kitchenettes, well suited to families with young children.

Our opinion: The President Hotel is ideal for both families and couples looking for a many facilities in the residential area.The President Hotel, just recently renovated, is situated in the residential area of Alcanada, just 15m from a small and cozy beach. This family oriented hotel offers many features and facilities such as 4 pools including a children's pool, a disco, and a buffet restaurant. The President Hotel is only 2km from Puerto de Alcudia and around 65km from Palma de Mallorca Airport.
Delfin Azul Stil
Our opinion: An excellent hotel only 200m from the beach and close to numerous bars and restaurants.Large and lovely, the Hotel Delfin Azul is a popular destination with families, and has something to offer all ages. It is situated about 500 metres from the beach in the beautiful port of Alcudia. The buzzing nightlife, places to eat and essential shopping are all within a short walk. The hotel is complemented by nearly 2000 square metres of enchanting Mediterranean gardens offering an endless choice of great spots to place your sun lounger and bask under the warm rays. Needless to say, the focal point is the large, inviting swimming pool with plenty of space to practice your strokes, or just cool off after sizzling in the sun. Served also by the pool bar, relaxation here will be effortless. While you kick back, watch the children whoop it up without worry; they have their own pool to splash around in, a playground to race around and a mini club offering all kinds of activities to engage their energies. A games room, pool and table-tennis table are available for older children or more active adults. What's more, the activities team at the Hotel Delfin Azul has created a seasonal daily activity programme including pistol shooting, pool games and aerobics. The evening kicks off with a children's mini disco followed by live music, cabaret or a show for the grown ups several times each week. When it comes to mealtimes, the air-conditioned restaurant and snack bar offer a range of traditional Spanish dishes and international cuisine including vegetarian options.
Jupiter Saturno
Our opinion: This accommodation is a good choice for families, couples and young adults who are looking for a wide range of sport and entertainment facilities.Located in the north of Mallorca, close to the beautiful sandy beach of Alcudia, surrounded by hills, with a lake inside, the Jupiter Saturno complex (part of the Club Mac complex) is only 40 minutes away from the Palma Airport. The hotel is magnificently situated between the bays of Alcudia and Pollensa and very close to the centre of Alcudia harbour (1 kilometre). The two buildings have 760 rooms totally. The complex features many facilities, lots of them suitable for families, including several restaurants (one with buffet) and bars, sports, like tennis and volleyball, animation programmes and special children activities.
Astoria Playa
Our opinion: A welcoming, comfortable hotel, enviably located close to the beach and shops of this family oriented resort.An attractive, white fronted hotel, the lovely Astoria Playa extends a warm welcome to guests and, with its peaceful location and great facilities, gets the unwinding process underway from the off. Set within 3000 square metres of lush gardens, the Astoria is spacious, airy and clean. Among the greenery sits a large, beautiful ,turquoise pool and wide sun terrace equipped with loungers and parasols. With the pool bar fully stocked, there's no need to go a step further if you choose not to but, with 8 kms of glorious sandy beach just a stone's throw away, you're sure to want to explore. On energetic days, you might opt to take a turn on the tennis court, or perfect your putt on the mini-golf circuit. When you're ready to wander further afield, you'll discover a good supply of shops within strolling distance, the pretty port of Alcudia, further on with its choice of bars and restaurants and the historical centre encircled by a stone wall. Alongside it lie the remnants of the ancient Roman city of Pollentia. The countryside around provides great walks or cycle rides in the mountains and the Parque Natural s'Albufera which attracts a variety of migratory birds. Golf, scuba diving, wind surfing, boat trips and water parks are all within easy reach. With so much to see and do, there is little chance of boredom setting in. A big breakfast buffet starts the day and in the evening, a spread of international and traditional dishes draw it to a satisfying close. If a lively trip into town is not planned, a cocktail on the terrace, being entertained with live music or cabaret may be just the ticket.

Our opinion: A comfortable base in a peaceful spot, perfect for exploring all Alcudia has to offer.The Aucanada Apartments complex is located in the northwest of Mallorca, in one of the quietest areas of BahGa de Alcudia. The views are enchanting of the pretty shingle beach 30 metres away, just the other side of a small pine forest. Rooms here are simply but functionally furnished, spacious and clean, and all overlook the attractive swimming pool - convenient for keeping an eye on children old enough for a taste of independence. You'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay where the schedule is yours to set. The kitchenette incorporates a hob, fridge and kettle, and toasters, microwaves and cool boxes can be rented from reception. A small, on-site supermarket sells the essentials for knocking up a quick meal or, alternatively, enjoy a hamburger, sandwich or salad from the Aucanada's own restaurant. They also offer traditional Mallorcan fare for an authentic Spanish experience. To ring the changes, another restaurant close by is a good choice and a lovely spot from which to admire the view. The area has much to attract holidaymakers. Trips to the famous bird sanctuary located close by and to the old Roman town of Pollentia as well as Alcudia harbour are all available. It is only 2 kms into the town centre with its abundance of shops, cafG©s, bars, restaurant and lively nightclubs - a mere hop on the bus service departing from the front of the apartments. So nights out can be as lively as you like while back at your apartment you're away from the revelry and a peaceful sleep is guaranteed.
Lago Park Aparts HSM
Our opinion: The Lago Park Aparts are the ideal destination for families and couples, as it is a short distance from both a sandy beach, shops, bars and restaurants. The facilities cater for all ages including children, making it the perfect place for a family holiday.The Lago Park complex is situated on the outskirts of Alcudia, Mallorca, Spain. It is consists of two hotels (Lago Park I and Lago Park II ) built next to each other following the same architectural style and offering to its guests a modern environment, the same comfort and services. It has 135 apartments. The hotel has a large pool, a restaurant, 2 bars and many more facilities. It is 200 metres from the sandy beach and only 100 metres from shops, bars and restaurants. The distance to the airport is approximately 48 kilometres.
