Our opinion: High quality, good value apartments with an excellent range of facilities to be enjoyed at the adjacent Club Martha's complex.
If its traditional Majorcan charm you're after, the Es Bolero apartments will fit the bill. Perfectly located, just 300 metres from the pretty, sandy beach in the heart of the pretty resort of Cala d'Or, rooms here are spacious with cheerful furnishings and all have private balconies or terraces. At ground level, these lead directly out to the lovely tropical gardens and swimming pool. Wander through and you will find yourself in the Club Martha complex where you are at liberty to take advantage of the facilities there, including 3 freshwater swimming pools and a further one just for children, a pool bar and a games room. If you've got the energy, you might also fancy taking a turn on the tennis courts or sharpening up your slamdunk at the basketball nets. When the children have had enough splashing around, you'll find them charging around the playground, or making new friends in the mini-club. A range of organized activities are laid on for adults too, with rifle-shooting, water polo and aerobics, to name a few.
The Martha's bar and buffet restaurant are popular with guests and a pizzeria provides the favourite food for children As the sun goes down, the evening entertainment hots up with a mini disco followed by live music, cabaret or a show. A little later on, you may find yourself among the bars and nightlife of Cala d'Or - just a few steps there, and a few back again when you're ready to turn in for a restful night's sleep.
