Our opinion: A central located hotel with great entertainment, the Pionero Santa Ponsa Park has got everything you need for a memorable holiday.
The Pionero Santa Ponsa Park Hotel, just 200 metres from the beach and not much further from the centre of this lively resort, is modern and well-maintained with comfortably furnished, attractive rooms. A particular feature is its fabulous big, blue pool stretching out like a lake in the grounds. At one end is a smaller pool for children to splash around in and a line of striking tall palms. The sun terrace has its share of loungers and parasols for happy sun-worshippers, and is backed by attractive tropical gardens. There is some serious relaxation to be had here, whether actively pursued in the hotel spa, or just allowed to settle over you in the bar as you relax with friends, or doze in the sun with a good book.
If you like to stay active, though, there's a well-equipped gym to keep you in trim, and sporty things to do including tennis, table tennis, pool and darts. You can even take scuba diving lessons. Families with young children will appreciate the kid's club, games room and playground, and everyone can enjoy the daily programme of fun activities provided by hotel staff. The day starts with a complimentary buffet in the restaurant - also open for lunch and dinner - and snacks and drinks are available from the snack bar, the pool or lobby bars. So, after a day suiting yourself, settle down after dinner with a nightcap to enjoy the evening entertainment and plan new ways to do the same thing tomorrow.
