Our opinion: The Blue Star complex is located in the picturesque resort of Puerto Rico and emanates an atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy yourself.The Blue Star apartment complex is situated on a hillside in the resort of Puerto Rico. The complex is close to a gorgeous beach, where guest can swim in the clear warm waters and try some of the water sports on offer. This complex is great for couples and families with 157 comfortable self-catering studios, one and two bedroom apartments surrounded by lush gardens overlooking a sparkling swimming pool with sun beds and umbrellas located around the pool area for guests who want to enjoy the sunshine. There is also a children's pool and playground, which is ideal for babies and toddlers. For some serious exercise, try a few sets on the tennis court before you call game, set and match on the day. If you don't fancy cooking yourself, why not have a meal on the onsite 8th floor restaurant serving a variety of tasty food in a relaxed atmosphere. Due to the location of this property it is not suitable for guests with wheelchairs or those with walking difficulties. The distance from the airport is 50 kilometres.

Suitable for all holidaymakers the Marina Suites are an ideal holiday retreat.Marina Suites Gran Canaria is located in the attractive yatch harbour of Puerto Rico, in the south east of Gran Canaria. The distance of the hotel from the airport is approximately 40 kilometres and it is located in the attractive yacht harbour of Puerto Rico. With a nice walk of just 10 minutes, you will arrive at the town centre with its fine restaurants and shops. All rooms at Marina Suites make the most of the natural light and are bright and airy, feature air conditioning, bathroom with bathtub or shower, hair dryer, heating, mini bar, safety deposit box (payable locally), satellite TV (payable locally), telephone and a terrace or balcony. Facilities at the hotel include a restaurant and bar, and a swimming pool with separate children's area. Guest can dine in the onsite restaurant which serves delicious international style dishes, freshly prepared every day by the hotel chef. The bar has a lovely atmosphere, where you can enjoy a drink, with friends and family. The apart-hotel Marina Suites is an ideal place to relax and unwind.

Our opinion: These welcoming apartments are ideal for families and couples looking for a relaxing holiday with the lively resort centre nearby.The Colina Mar Apartments are situated on the high side of Puerto Rico with beautiful views out to the harbour and sea. For those seeking total relaxation you can soak up the sun, swim in the clean, refreshing waters or in the swimming pool or simply sit on a shaded terrace with a cool drink in hand. For the more active there is a full range of water sports available on the beach. The complex provides excellent facilities for both adults and children alike, which makes it a great choice for both couples and families. Here everyone can enjoy a homely atmosphere and very friendly service. The Colina Mar has 184 one bedroom self catering apartments which offer good value for money but if you don't fancy cooking, then why not try the hotel onsite restaurants serving tasty local cuisine. There are a range of activities on offer during the day and in the evenings there is the Disco Pub where you can enjoy happy hour, TV screens and entertainment. The surrounding areas of Puerto Rico will surprise you and take your breathe away with it's history and natural beauty, proving that the island of Gran Canaria has so much to offer. The resort is built on the steep sides of a valley, giving magnificent views from most of the hotels.

Our opinion: Comfortable accommodation near the tourist centre and with a variety of facilities.Terrazamar Aparthotel is a unique establishment, which includes two buildings situated in the tourist resort of Puerto Rico, known world wide for its exceptionally good climate. Terrazamar Aparthotel is located half way up the hill on the sunny side of the valley of Puerto Rico and is built into terraces allowing a splendid panoramic view over the whole area. This hotel is fantastic for couples and families with a host of nearby recreational facilities and attractions and 306 comfortable self-catering apartments featuring a twin bedroom, a living area with sofa beds and kitchenette and a spacious terrace and splendid panoramic vistas that include partial sea views. There are two outdoor pools with plenty of surrounding sun loungers where guests can relax soaking up the sunshine. The hotel has a main restaurant and snack bar situated next to the pool serving delicious snacks and dishes, exquisite ice creams and a variety of drinks. There is also a pool bar where guests can enjoy drinks after a long day. The complex is about 300 metres from the shopping centre with a medical centre, tourist information office, sports installations and an aqua park just 200 metres away. Also accessible is a bus stop operating regular services to various destinations including to Las Palmas (70 kilometres). The airport is 50 kilometres away. The famous beach of Puerto Rico is approximately 1200 metres from the complex and there is a shopping centre 300 metres away.
Morasol Suites Aparthotel
Our opinion: Morosol Suites overlook the Marina and have a very high standard of service.The Morasol Suites Aparthotel is situated in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria, near the Port with a magnetic view to the sea and at only 400 metres away from the beach. The hotel is characterized by its luxurious yet familiar atmosphere and is in a prime location as it extremely convenient. A shopping centre is close by and so are opportunities for sports activities such as hiking, rock climbing, deep sea diving and golfing. Within the bounds of the hotel, there is a swimming pool for adult and children, a pool bar, a solarium with Jacuzzi and many more facilities one can enjoy. The hotel has 88 rooms, mainly studios and apartments, with spacious terraces with impressive panoramic views of the marina of Puerto Rico, this will make your holiday an unforgettable experience. The hotel Morasol has exclusive restaurant with an attractive blend of modern design and elegance, where the guest can experience an impressive selection of delicious meals or a cocktail offered in the intimate atmosphere of the bar. Our opinion: The apartments will appeal to couples and singles looking for a good value holiday in a quiet location.The Solana Apartments are situated in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria, 900 metres from the beach, 1 kilometres from the town centre and approximately 40 kilometres from the airport. It consists of 34 rooms designed to offer guests comfort and they each feature a spacious bathroom with shower, a combined living room/bedroom, a separate bedroom and a safety deposit box. From the balcony or terrace guests are able to enjoy pleasant views. The bar, large pool with separate children's section and the other hotel facilities all combine to provide guests with all the elements needed for a great holiday. All in all, Puerto Rico is a popular choice among holidaymakers who love the sunshine, golden beaches, stunning scenery and a wealth of attractions. It consists of apartments designed to offer guests comfort and services. Comprises of 44 apartments, each having a bathroom and shower, a kitchenette, a lounge and a balcony or terrace. The hotel amenities include swimming pool for adults and children, a pool bar, a mini-market and billiard, among others. Nearby, guests will find an international shopping centre with numerous shops, supermarkets, sports facilities, bars and restaurants. It is located approximately 38 kilometres from the airport.
