Our opinion: A fabulous choice for a fun family holiday, in a great location with plenty to do.
The attractive Eleni Holiday Village Hotel is in the western part of Paphos directly on the coast. There is plenty to see and do in the area; it is within walking distance of the market as well as other shopping areas and there are plenty of local attractions including water parks, golf courses, historical and archaeological sites, not to mention the numerous places to eat and have a night out. For those of you that enjoy sports, the Eleni has plenty on offer. This includes golf, tennis, basketball, and volleyball among others. You can also rent bicycles and take off for an invigorating ride along the lovely coastline, stopping at one of the pretty hidden coves en route.
Back at the hotel, the main attraction is the beautiful, large swimming pools in steps between the apartments, like a mini Venice, down to the sea, one exclusively for the use of children. The stunning sea views from Eleni's pool area are breathtaking. If you like to relax and soak up the sun, the outdoor pool is the perfect place. A professional massage will aid the de-stressing process.
After working up an appetite, enjoy some local and international delicacies that are served up in the main restaurant of Eleni Village. During the summer months, Eleni's outdoor tavern is a lovely place to enjoy some local cuisine and relax with a glass of local wine. The entertainment programme, much of it for adults only, includes some child-oriented activities and plenty, too, that the whole family can enjoy together; karaoke is a firm favourite.
