Our opinion: Good central location, close to the resort's amenities.The family run Mariela Hotel Apartments are located on the Polis/Argaka road near the centre of the typical Cypriot village of Polis, within easy walking distance of the picturesque central square and a number of Cypriot tavernas. All rooms have a sea view or country view, a balcony, full kitchenette with fridge and two electric cooking rings, and a bathroom. The Hotel also has a swimming pool, snack bar and a poolside bar. Friendly staff and the quiet location make this an ideal choice for couples and families alike.
Akamanthea Village
Our opinion: The well maintained tourist village has plenty to keep you active but it also makes a great base from which to explore. This will suit those who really want a relaxing holiday in a quiet rural area.Designed in a Cypriot village theme, the Akamanthea Holiday Village is a cluster of pastel coloured buildings grouped around the main hotel facilities of reception lounge, dining room, indoor and outdoor pools, mini gym and sun-bathing terrace. The gardens are well-tended and spacious, providing ample room to enjoy a peaceful day poolside from where the sea views are wonderful. The main pool has a hydro-massage and waterfall to fascinate the children alongside their own splash pool, playroom and playground. For teens and adults, a tennis court and facilities for basket ball and beach volley ball will add to the fun and sustenance is available from the pool bar open 11am to 4pm daily. Its ideal, peaceful rural location in an unspoilt area of Paphos between Latchi and Polis - 2 kms from each - make the Akamanthea a great base from which to hire a car and set off each day to explore the golden beaches and pretty villages nearby. Organised excursions are also available to the Akamas wilderness, and boat trips to the clear waters of Chrysochou Bay. Keeping your tum happy is a key feature of any holiday and, here, it won't be disappointed. The Meze is a cornucopia of traditional Cypriot elements including local cheeses, fresh vegetables, cold meats and fish, houmous, olives, lemon, taramasalata and local home-made bread. After this feast you need only move to the bar where you can enjoy one of the local wines, beer or brandy, traditional ouzo or the pink, cinnamon flavoured Zivania distilled in the Kykko Monastery in Paphos Forest.

Our opinion: Small family run establishment in a beauftiful location where friendly english speaking staff ensure a warm sunny welcome and a pleasant stay. Souli beach is a great base for those wishing to explore unspoilt areas of the island.Souli Beach hotel is superbly located on a seafront setting by the foothills of the Akamas in the charming fishing village of Latchi. It offers the ideal location for those seeking a relaxing "get away from it all" holiday. Guests can spend days soaking up the sun by the outdoor pool or sea and dine alfresco in the famous seafront restaurant that is renowned for its variety of fresh fish and local traditional meze. Souli beach is a great base for those wishing to explore unspoilt areas of the island.

Attracting guests with a keen interest in nature.The Natura Beach Hotel is a family run property which offers comfortable accommodation and uninterrupted views of the sea and coastline. Situated close to the beautiful Akamas peninsula it is a haven for nature lovers, as it is surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean orchards and olive groves and features several thematic gardens. With seasonal lectures and local walks with wildlife experts, the hotel attracts guests with a keen interest in nature. Enjoying a prime location on a long stretch of sandy beach, the centre of Polis is just a fifteen minute walk away.

Only a few minutes walk will bring you to a sandy/pebbly beach and the picturesque fishing harbour where you can sample the days catch. Excellent accommodation is combined with a full entertainment programme.

Situated in the totally unspoilt village of Argaka, the attractive self contained Limone Villas offer an insight into the real Cyprus.
