El Gouna, located 25 km north of Hurghada, offers some interesting dives that are fairly inaccessible
to the regular tourist. El Gouna diving centres are maintained with the help of the Hurghada
Environment Protection Agency. The formula has been a success, resulting in a diving area very
well preserved, with relaxed diving and stunning underwater environment. El Gouna is the perfect
place to come if wreck diving is your thing, with easy access to Abu Nuhas, the famous 'ship
graveyard' of the Red Sea. The area is also known for frequent dolphin encounters, with the friendly creatures often surprising divers with sudden appearances on journeys to and from dive sites.
Emperor Divers recently teamed up with The Dive Tribe in El Gouna to create Emperor Dive Tribe;
located at thefabulous Mövenpick Hotel and provide pick-ups from all the hotels in the resort. One
of the main attractions about El Gouna is that it's closer to the popular dive sites such as Abu Nuhas
and Rosalie Moeller. Conveniently located on the Mövenpicks private beach, Emperor Dive Tribe
boasts a training school, dive centre and shop.
Both learners and experienced divers will enjoy El Gouna; whether it's day diving, learning to dive or
taking your diving further. Emperor Dive Tribe has become known for its professional, multi lingual
and friendly staff and the high level of quality and safety. For non diving guests a variety of other
water sports are on offer at the dive centre including Kite and Windsurfing, Snorkelling, Waterski,
