considers that adequate travel insurance is

cover, from the same underwriters, for diving
up to 40m accompanied, but including wreck and
night diving (subject to increased excess of
£100 per claim.). |

of the policy will be sent with your holiday
invoice. This document contains full details
of what is and is not covered and the conditions
of the cover. You should read the policy very

| Should you wish to dive
at any of our destinations you should consider
the following points. You can access the PADI Medical
Statement form on our website or call us and we
will send you a copy. If you are unsure about your
health you are advised to undergo a full medical
examination before booking your holiday. It is
the responsibility of each passenger to ensure
that any necessary medical clearance is obtained
before booking the holiday as full cancellation
charges as outlined in our booking conditions will
apply if you are subsequently advised not to dive.
Some medication may affect your ability to dive
safely; therefore it is essential you consult your
doctor prior to travel. A basic, beginners qualification
(PADI Open Water Diver) takes 4-5 days to achieve
and safety regulation require a 24 hour interval
between diving and air travel. You may have to
wait for a couple of days for a course to become
available. Always adhere to local regulations and
do not touch coral or marine life when diving or
snorkelling. In many areas it is illegal to remove
any coral or shells whether dead or alive. |

| Although non-divers are
welcome on board our Liveaboard boats, please note
that you will not be permitted to dive unless you
are qualified and present your internationally
recognised certification and log book. If you are
taking your own equipment, please ensure that it
is well serviced and take any essential spares
that may not be available at your destination.
As space is restricted on board, it is suggested
that you travel as lightly as possible and use
soft luggage. Depth gauges and diving computers
may be affected by pressure and you should therefore
carry them as hand baggage in flight. Divers' knives
and similar must be packed in your hold luggage
when checking in for your flight. They will be
confiscated if in hand baggage. There are various
other recommendations for the enjoyment of your
diving holiday. If you have any questions please
call our diving experts. You will in any case be
fully briefed at your diving centre in resort or
on boarding your "Liveaboard" boat. |
