The Intercontinental Abu Soma Resort is situated on the shores of the Red Sea, just 50km south of Hurghada and just 5km from Safaga. The Abu Soma boasts its own 1200m pristine white sandy beach, turquoise waters and stunning desert scenery. The resort is set amongst landscaped gardens and waterfalls and rests on a prime beachfront location with magnificent views of the sea and mountains of the Sinai. The area is a mecca for scuba divers with an outstanding selection of nearby dive sites for both beginner and experienced divers. Just offshore from the hotel is Ras Abu Soma, a peninsular surrounded by a coral reef offering some of the best diving in the Red Sea.
