Our opinion: Excellent, quiet, beautiful accommodation - great for families.The Candia Park Village is the ideal choice for families and couples alike. Resembling a traditional Cretan village, the unique waterfront location offers panoramic views of Mirabello Bay and the azure sea. The 222 well appointed studios and apartments are comfortable and spacious with all of the modern amenities required for the home from home feel, all rooms have a private terrace where guests can relax. Guests can take a dip in the 2 freshwater swimming pools and younger guests will be kept entertained with their own children's paddle pool and mini club. Guests can visit the poolside bar for a cooling refreshment and the main restaurant serves mouthwatering local and international cuisine. There is a golden sandy beach on site, as well as Havania Beach which is approximately 700 metres away. It is a five minute taxi journey to the centre of Aghios Nikolaos and 10 minutes to the nearby town of Elounda.

Our opinion: A stylish, deluxe hotel with extensive facilities. A lovely complex with a relaxing atmosphere.The Annabelle Village is a stylish deluxe hotel on the island of sunshine, with extensive facilities, 2.5 kilometres from the popular and lively resort of Hersonissos. The hotel has its own section of sandy beach, which has been awarded a European Blue Flag, and is built in Aegean bungalow style within extensive landscaped grounds and beautiful gardens. The Annabelle Village is a lovely complex with a relaxing atmosphere for an enjoyable and carefree holiday in a deluxe environment.
Iberostar Creta Marine Hotel
Our opinion: Enjoy the tranquil setting at this elegant and stylish hotel. The hotel is an ideal base from which to explore Panormo and Rethymnon, both of which are within easy reach.The Iberostar Creta Marine Hotel is situated 3 kms from the charming fishing village of Panormo and 18 kms outside Rethymnon. It is a contemporary and spacious hotel complex located next to the sea on sandy gulfs (and fine gravel) with panoramic views. There are two sandy beaches located three kilometres away at Panormos and they can be reached by local bus or mini train. The nearest bus stop is only 50 metres away and takes less than a minute to get to on foot, however if you prefer a taxi, then one can be called for by reception. Although located on the outskirts of town, there are a selection of bars, restaurants and tavernas in the Panormo area.

Our opinion: The ideal place to provide a perfect holiday atmosphere with excellent five star facilities and service.The welcoming realm of King Minos, blessed by the Gods of the sun and the sea, is today as proud as a fortress and as welcoming as an embrace. It is also home to a sumptuous palace that makes an ideal destination for any type of holiday. At the Knossos Royal, time moves at a different pace; in elegant and comfortable rooms with incomparable views, in the azure sea and crystal-clear pools, at superb sports facilities and matchless restaurants, the pleasure and relaxation never end. This lovely hotel is located in the area of Anissaras which is approximately two and a half kilometres from Hersonissos. This hotel is a member of Green Globe.
