Our opinion: First class hotel which boasts plenty of facilities.
The Mares Hotel is situated just off the main road, in one of the most exquisite bays of the Aegean Sea, set between the resorts of Marmaris (just 5km away) and Icmeler (just 3km away). The beach lies along 650 metres of Marmaris Bay coastline and is about a 4 minutes walk from the hotel. It has been awarded with a Blue Flag for its water and coastal quality, safety services and facilities. The hotel provides it's own jetty for sunbathing as well as a platform area, giving guests the chance to dive straight into the sea.
The Mares Hotel consists of a total of 440 rooms, all of which come with a balcony or terrace and air-conditioning which will be much appreciated on those hot summer nights. Outside, there are two swimming pools to provide somewhere refreshing to cool off from the heat of the Turkish sunshine and the sun terraces, which are ideal for sunbathing. The pool bar serves snacks and beverages for those lazy days by the pool. For the more active, why not try a game of tennis or table tennis and for those looking for something a little more relaxing, there is a wellness centre which offers a wide range of massages and treatments (payable locally). There is also a kids' club to keep young guests entertained and a babysitting service, so parents can enjoy some time to themselves. The hotel has an excellent range of dining and drinking options, serving a wide variety of cuisines.
