Olympic Airways is the national carrier of Greece based in Athens, Olympic Airlines was formed in December 2003 following the integration Olympic Airways and Olympic Aviation. Olympic Airways was founded in 1957 following of 'TAE - Greek National Airlines' by Aristotle Onassis. The first Olympic Airways flight was carried out at dawn on April 6th 1957 from Athens Airport to Thessaloniki with a DC-3 aircraft. from these humble beginnings Olympic Airways has grown from strength to strength and now boasts over 40 aircraft in its fleet.
