The resort's restaurants, bars and craft market are all within easy reach by taxi.

There is a disco within 200 metres and an 18-hole golf course 5 minutes away by taxi.

Our opinion: An excellent location and ideal or families and couples who would like to relax by the pool or beach or indulge in some activities.Kombo Beach is a popular and lively hotel, refurbished in 2011 and situated beside the sandy Kotu beach in a brightly-coloured African setting. It's excellent beach, lush gardens and great amenities mean the hotel is ideal for either relaxing or active beach holiday, and it's entertainment team is on hand for day and evening activities.

The ideal place for couples and singles to enjoy a relaxing holiday.This friendly hotel is in a great location on the sandy beach at the quiet resort of Kotu. It is set in attractive gardens with coconut trees, tropical palms and flowers, you could not wish for a more idealic setting for your Gambian holiday. Just one step away is Gambia's famous long sandy Kotu beach with its wonderful beach bar. You can choose a sun lounger or a towel in the raised beach bar where you can gaze at continuous Atlantic waves as they reach the Gambian smiling coast.
