Our opinion: The Senhor Angelo has been a popular choice for many years, especially for those who want to have the beach and all the resort's amenities nearby, yet still enjoy a peaceful holiday.In a great location just 300 metres from the beach and a 5 minute stroll from the main Baga road with its many shops, bars and restaurants. Transfer time from the airport is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Alor Holiday Resort
Our opinion: A no frills accomodation for the budget traveller. A great place from which to stay and explore the terrific sights of Goa.Alor Holiday Resort is situated approx 500 metres from the famous Calangute beach and offers apartment styled accommodation.
Riverside Regency Resort
Our opinion: This is a family-run accommodation is perfectly located for the budget traveller within close proximity of the beach and nightlife of Baga. An ideal base for exploring North Goa.Nestling close to the banks of the Baga River, the Riverside Regency is perfectly located for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The beach and resort of Baga are approximately 500 metres away, across the Baga Bridge.
Prazeres Resort
Our opinion: A simple but comfortable hotel within easy walking distance to the resort of Candolim and its beautiful beach. A popular hotel with a high percentage of repeat guests.Prazeres Resort is surrounded by pleasant gardens and offers a warm and friendly service. Situated approximately 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Candolim and 700 metres from the beach, it is in an ideal location for a relaxing holiday with all local amenities close at hand and has a high percentage of repeat guests.
Falcon Guest House
Our opinion: The Falcon Guest House is lovingly cared for by the owner Filipe and his wife Flory who do everything to make their guests feel at home. Ideally located for those who want to be right in the centre of the resort.Right in the heart of bustling Calangute, with all the resorts amenities virtually on the doorstep and just a couple of minutes' walk to the beach. Transfer time from the airport is approximately 45 minutes.
Dona Terezinha Resort
Our opinion: A simple but charming hotel which has the benefits of being close to all the facilities of the resort.The Dona Terezinha hotel is situated on the busy main road of Calangute amongst all the hustle and bustle of the resort. This well established hotel is full of Goan charm and is very centrally located with shops, bars and restaurants just on the doorstep. A 10 minute walk will take you to the beach. Please note some road noise maybe experienced.
Alor Grand Resort
Our opinion: A simple yet comfortable hotel set in an excellent location.Situated on the busy main road of Candolim and a 15 minute walk to the sandy beach, this simple but comfortable hotel is ideal for those wanting to be close to the facilities and amenities of this laid back resort.
Palmarinha Resort
Our opinion: Chose the Palmarinha for the chance to combine relaxation with a touch of culture in this fascinating area.The Palmarinha - Portuguese for swaying palms - is a colourful, 5-storey hotel situated among the paddy fields of rural Bardez in north Goa. Simply, but comfortably furnished rooms overlook a pretty sun terrace, where sun loungers are ranged, enticing you to a day spent poolside. Within this scene, palm trees hung with fairy lights twinkle at night, reflected in the attractive rectangular pool. This is one of three, two of which have adjoining shallow toddlers' pools. Older children will have fun in the adventure playground or the games room equipped with table tennis, pool, air hockey, and more, while grown ups may prefer to surrender to expert hands for a soothing massage. If this seems too self-indulgent, earn it with a session toning muscles in the gym beforehand. Our opinion: A small and friendly hotel with comfortable rooms which is close to the centre of Calangute and all its facilities.The Santa Monica Resort is situated just 10 minutes from the main beach of Calangute. Offering simple yet smart accmmodation, the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the hustle and bustle of the resort centre. Calangute is a colourful place with plenty of shops and market stalls to explore, making it ideal for those seeking a resort with plenty of local charm just waiting to be discovered at your own pace. The evenings in Calangute offer a good selection of lively bars and restaurants to choose from.
Village Royale
Our opinion: A simple style budget accommodation acting as a good base from which to explore Goa. This 'no frills' hotel is set in a rural location within easy reach of resorts facilities so there is plenty to explore and discover.Situated in a secluded and peaceful area of Calangute surrounded by palm trees. A 30 minute walk takes you to the beach and the resort centre where you will find many shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Please note: Carrying a torch is necessary at night due to uneven & unlit pathway leading to the resort.
