Our opinion:
A good standard of accommodation providing a great base from which to explore the local area.
The modern Ilias Studios are set in a quiet area and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Located off the main road, just ten minutes away from the thriving centre of Patitiri and its wonderful harbour area, the accommodation is in quiet surroundings with a pleasant courtyard area waiting to be enjoyed. There is a gentle slope from the town up to the accommodation and you will find a beach located nearby.
Studios sleep 1/3 persons with two double bedded studios and two twin bedded studios with open plan kitchenette, kettles, hairdryers, TV, private bathroom with shower and a private balcony or terrace with inland view. The third bed in the studios is a foldaway armchair. Two bedroom apartments sleeping 4 people are also available.

We have just come back from a wonderful holiday on Alonissos. To describe the Ilias Studios as clean does not begin to do them justice. They almost sparkled! They were thorougly cleaned daily. Everything worked and there were plenty of sockets in sensible places. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Magdeleni provided washing up liquid, hand wash and toilet rolls. The interior and courtyard are delightful and kept immaculate.

We have just returned from our third holiday based at Ilias studios. We have never stayed in such immaculate accommodation. When we expressed disappointment at the lower studio where the views are more restricted than the higher floors we have had previously, Magda said she would move us next day, which she did. Although she has little or no English she works at understanding and is very friendly. The harbour with shops and restaurants and a lovely beach are barely 5 mins away. Lots of walks and beautiful places to swim make Alonnisos a firm favourite.

We are just getting ready to book our next holiday to this lovely little gem. The Ilias apartments are by far the most immaculate I've ever stayed in on any of the many Greek Islands I have visited. Magdalena seems to work constantly on the upkeep of the rooms and the communal areas. We couldn't believe our room was cleaned every day and fresh linen and towels were put out regularly. The Island itself has won us over with its clear blue waters, spotless beaches and lovely restaurants and bars. Roll on August 2012.
