A family run establishment, the owners of the Alonia Apartments extend the warmest of welcomes to their guests and go out of their way to ensure that everyone has a holiday to remember. The spacious apartments are the perfect place to pick if you're seeking a tranquil base from which to explore the stunning area. Peacefully located at the edge of the village of Skoutelonas, the pretty, two-storey, cream-coloured apartments are surrounded by green lawns and palm trees. Each one is clean, fresh and comfortably furnished and is equipped with everything necessary to make you feel at home. Some also have spectacular views of the sea and mountains from the balcony, a great spot to sit with a cocktail at sunset.
The lovely swimming pool is the centre of attraction at the hotel, where you can spend the day enjoying the warm sunshine and completely de-stressing on the sunbeds.. There is bar there for snacks and drinks and a shallow section of the pool is kept separate for children to have fun splashing around in.
A short walk will bring you to the beach, tavernas and shops and the stunning, sandy Nissi beach is 2 kms distant, Frequent buses run, but it might be an idea to hire a car as there is much to see in the area; the pretty fishing villages of Kolymbari and Chania are about 20 kms away and are still largely unaffected by tourism, allowing you to get a real feel for local life.
