Perama Holidays

Perama Holidays

Perama Holidays at a glance

The peaceful resort of Perama is located on the idyllic east-coast of Corfu, in the midst of the Kanoni peninsular region, and is surrounded by scenic rolling hills. It is only 9km from the centre of Corfu and so acts as a popular, convenient location to enjoy other sites that the island has to offer.

With its picturesque views and tranquil environment, Perama is the perfect place to relax and unwind; as well as being able to benefit from its proximity to the more lively, vibrant regions of Corfu.

Getting Around on Perama Holidays

Boat: There are many lines and ships linking Corfu to both Greek and foreign ports. There are ferries almost hourly between Igoumenitsou, directly across on the mainland (1-2 hr), and several weekly to and from Patras (about 7 hr). During high season, there is now a twice-daily hydrofoil express (about 30 min.) between Corfu and Igoumenitsou. Also during high season, there are daily ships linking Corfu to one or other ports in Italy - Ancona, Bari, Brindisi, Trieste, Venice or to Piraeus and/or Patras.

Bus: The dark blue public buses service Corfu town, its suburbs, and nearby destinations. The semiprivate green and cream KTEL buses offer a frequent service all over the island - to Paleocastritsa, Glifada, Sidari, and more.

Taxi: Around Corfu town, a taxi is probably your best bet - sometimes the only way around, such as to and from the harbour and the airport. Although taxi drivers are supposed to use their meters, many don't, so you should agree on the fare before setting out. You may also decide to use a taxi to visit some of the sites outside Corfu town.

Car Hire: An excellent way of getting around during Dassia holidays, car hire gives you complete flexibility as well as the ability to see more of the island.
