Our opinion:
A good standard of accommodation with a great pool and snack bar area. Set in a rural part of the resort making it ideal for those who want a relaxing holiday.
The Varvara Apartments are situated 20 minute's walk from the outskirts of Sidari and 30 minutes away from the nearest beach. Guests can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool with terrace and sun loungers which provides the ideal place to relax and soak up the sunshine. The the kids' can have fun in the children's pool. There is a pool bar serving drinks and snacks throughout the day. The Varvara Apartments and Studios are a well maintained, family-run complex set in peaceful surroundings, making for a relaxing holiday experience. Due to the location, we recommend a torch for returning at night.
Studios sleep 2/2 & 2/3 with private bathroom with shower and a private balcony with inland view. Two bedroom apartments sleeping 3/5 people, with two bedrooms, a kitchenette with two ring cooker, oven, kettle and toaster, a private bathroom with shower and a private balcony with inland view & two bedroom maisonettes sleep 3/5 with inland view are also available at a supplement.
stayed at varvara two years running now and will definately be booking for 2012! love the apartments, nice and spacious, yasmin and takis the owners cant do enough for you, theyre great! sofia the cleaner is amazing, and she works really hard. pool area lovely with plenty of sunbeds and really clean! the food at the bar is delicious, all homemade by yasmin we loved her pizzas!!!! and its reasonably priced too. the apartments are a little out of town, 20 minute walk, but that suits us as a family because it means peace and quiet! you can get a taxi back in the evenings for 5 euro to save your legs !! thanks olympic for yet another great holiday, we look forward to staying at varvara next year, cant wait!! yamas !!

We returned to Varvara for the 3rd year running and loved it again. Two perfect weeks of rest and relaxation. The apartments are 20 minutes away from town but this makes them nice and quiet. The pool and gardens are stunning with lots of sunbeds and are always clean and tidy. The pool bar provides super home made food and snacks as well as drinks. The apartments are a little dated but very clean and nice and big. Sofia, Yasmin and Varvara are all so lovely we can't wait to go back for the 4th time.

Just got home from Varvara, it was a brilliant holiday! It's really friendly and family run, they looked after us making our 1st holiday to Corfu very special. Jasmine is a fantastic cook and for a reasonable price you can try real Greek food as well as English options, our favourite was her homemade white cake! Jasmine and Varvara made us feel very welcome and Sofia done a fantastic job at keeping our appartment clean and couldn't do enough to help. The pool area was immaculate and plenty of sun beds for everyone. We are already looking at prices for next year and definitely recommend staying here.

Got back from the Varvara a couple of days ago, we only had a week but it was brillant. The location was great, nice and quiet. Jasmine and Sofia were lovely made us really welcome. The food there was good, the chips were the best i've ever tasted and I have to agree with Angie and Kev the homemade white cake was heavenly! The studio was adequate for our need maybe a bit small (teenagers take up a lot of space!!) Overall great holiday and can't wait to book for next year.
