Our opinion:
Simple accommodation with good facilities, located in a peaceful countryside setting.
The Elena Apartments offer simple accommodation with good facilities, located in a peaceful countryside setting down a gravel track. A beautiful sandy beach is approximately a 10 minutes walk away with a variety of water sports on offer for those seeking an active holiday. There are many restaurants, shops and tavernas just a 5 to 10 minute walk away. A short walk through the olive groves from St. George South will bring you to the village of Argirades, where daily life continues in the traditional way as it has for years. The surrounding area is ideal for those who enjoy picturesque walks. The resort is also great for couples or families seeking great golden sandy beaches. We recommend a torch for returning to the accommodation at night.
Studios sleep 1/2 & 1/3 people with twin beds (the third bed is a sofa bed), a kitchenette (2 cooking rings & some with an oven) and a private bathroom with shower and a balcony. Apartments sleep 2/4 & 5/6 people with air conditioning (payable locally), twin beds, telephone, TV, kitchenette (2 cooking rings & some with an oven) and a private bathroom with shower and a balcony.
We stayed at the eleana apts in june and had a great holiday. The apartment was spacious and well equiped and the pool area was a delight. Eleana and Aghi, the couple who own the apts, are friendly and fun, we had many nights greek dancing and singing with them. Eleanas' breakfasts are great and good value. The resort is a 10 min strole away, with plenty of tavernas and a few shops and supermarkets. We recommend the Seagull, Panorama and Balcony but most of the restaurants serve good food. We would definately stay at the Eleana again.

Just got home from a fantastic holiday in Agios Georgios staying at Eleana apartments. The apartment was pretty good by Greek standards, well maintained and looked after by Eleana and Aghi (and the cleaner). Eleana made us all feel most welcome. There's a good family atmosphere around the place especially during the daytime around the pool. Only a short stroll from the beach front and the numerous great tavernas. We recommend Seagulls, Gramophono (Greek tapas!), Balcony and the Village.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the studio apt at Eleana mid august and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and know good English which always helps if ever need anything. The accommodation is basic but clean and well kept. Bed linen is provided and our studio was cleaned twice during the week. The kitchen mini cooker and oven all worked, cutlery, glasses, cups, plates, bowls, a saucepan, frying pan and veg drainer are provided. Our kettle was a bit temperamental but did the boiling job eventually haha. I would suggest if self catering you bring your own tea towels and washing up cloth and few basics like tea bags, coffee, sugar, cooking herbs and spices to save some money on essentials. The supermarkets sell all you need even crunchy nut whooo :), although buying good meat we found difficult, we stuck to cooking with veg and bacon and then had meat when we ate out. Vast restaurants to choose from and all very nice food, and service. Beaches are lovely and sandy and shallow clear waters, you can either turn right or left once walk 5 min down into the town. We preferred the beach down to the right and had 2 - 3 water sports places all doing the jet ski's, speed boat doughnut ride type things (great fun - go on the crazy shark sofa!1) etc, all good prices. Can either rent a sun bed or we liked to walk all the way down the other side where quieter near the sand dunes. The rep was really helpful and visits the hotel most days so can book any trips you want with them or if need anything. Recommend one of the boat trips and visit to Corfu town. Bring stuff for mozi's they come out from about 7pm, and a room plug worked well for us. We would both enjoyed our stay at Elena.
