Our opinion:
Traditional, comfortable and spacious accommodation which boasting spectacular views of the sea and Sitia mountains.
The popular, family run Golden Apartments are located in an elevated position on the outskirts of Aghios Nikolaos, approximately 2.5 kms from the resort centre and offer modern accommodation with a family atmosphere. The lovely, sandy beach of Almiros is 1.7 kms away. The accommodation is comfortable and spacious with an inviting pool area, lovely gardens and spectacular views of the bay and the Sitia mountains.
Please note that due to the elevated location of the property, the coach is unable to drop off clients directly outside the accommodation, therefore some walking with luggage may be required.

Studios sleep 2/3 with kitchenette with cooking rings, telephone, private bathroom with shower and a balcony or terrace. Apartments sleep 2/3, 2/4 or 3/5 people with two bedrooms, open plan kitchenette with cooking rings, telephone, private bathroom with shower and a balcony or terrace. Studios and apartments have inland views. Double bedded studios (2/3) are also available.
Stayed here so many times and what speaks for itself is the fact most people return as you simply won't find better hosts.. Dave & Jules

A good place friendly owners, but traffic noise can be a problem as it's on a main road. It's a hike to the centre (best to hire a car). Simple budget apartments.

we had the best time and made new friends the views from our room were spectacular and the owners yanni and elani were sotmail.co.uko friendly and accommodating we certainly will be returning also our rep fotini what a nice lady

Very friendly hosts but very basic accomodation. We were right at the top of the building and was subjected to extreme noise from the road - pretty much every night, all night. Lovely pool. Quite a walk to the town (the road is being dug up so you walk with the traffic). Would I go back - err...... Nope :-))

got back yesterday, went with 7 friends, absolutely fantastic, 10 minute walk from town centre and almeiros beach in the other direction, Yiannis and Eleni are the best managers you could ask for, treat you like their best friends and will stop at nothing for you to have the best time possible! i'm already looking to go back later august and next year! thanks for a great holiday!

fantastic holiday,i went with my family and had a brilliant time the Yiannis and Eleni are the nicest friendly people youl ever meet. We wer at room 4 and the views where breath taking would i go back...yes!

My wife and I have just spent 3 great weeks at Golden. We have now stayed there around 20 times over the last 12 years. Yianni & Eleni made us so welcome - as they always do! Great place, great times and we can't wait until we go back to Golden and Agios Nickolaos again.

An absolutely great place to relax or use as a base to explore, Yanni and Eleni are fantastic hosts and can not do enough for you. I Would recommend Golden to anybody looking for a relaxing stress free Holiday.

We got back last week. Good quality 2 bed appt. Excellent pool. My 6 year old and 10 yr old boys loved it. my little one became good friends with Yannis and didn't want to leave. Traffic is noisy and the hotel bar is expensive. when windy there wasn't enough shade around the pool. however the views are great and it was small enough to feel safe and personal which meant that I could relax whilst the kids played. The euro exchange rate will keep us away next year.
