The Liza Mari Complex offers a simple standard of accommodation. A 200 metre walk will take you to the nearest beach and a one kilometre walk to the picturesque harbour. The pool at the complex is the perfect spot to relax during the day.
The pool is surrounded by a sun terrace with loungers, umbrellas and a pool-side bar serving cooling refreshments throughout the day. At guests disposal there are a nice reception area with safety deposit boxes available and a bar. During warm summer evenings guests can relax with a drink on their own private balcony or terrace. The complex offers comfortable but basic accommodation and boasts its own lovely pool and pool bar, ideal for couples.
The resort of Bali is very hilly and therefore not suitable for clients with walking difficulties.
Hotel:Twin bedded rooms sleep 2/2 with air conditioning, fridge, safety deposit box (payable locally), bathroom with shower, maid service (6 days a week), towel and linen change (2 times per week), balcony or terrace and inland view. Twin bedded rooms sleep 2/3 with inland view and single rooms with inland view are also available at a supplement.
Apartments:Studio sleep 2/2 with inland view and one bedroom apartments sleep 2/4 with inland view.
I stayed here in May 2011; the pool was not yet ready for the season but a very pleasant beach is only five minutes walk away so it wasn't a problem at all. The studio was large but rather dark, but otherwise comfortable and well-equipped. Bali is very nice with a choice of sheltered ssandy beaches, some busier, some quieter, all with adjacent cafes or tavernas. Buses to Heraklion and Rethymnon are both easy, and I recommend the boat trips from Bali Harbour!

We returned from Crete last night. We stayed at the Liza-marie apartments in Bali. We had a fantastic time, the accomodation was lovely as were the owners. Our rep Kelly was very good also. Bali is a good base to stay at, lots of taverna's and beaches close by. Flights were ok but sadly not as good as Monarch.

We stayed in the Liza Mari appartments. The staff and our rep Kelly were very friendly and helpful and allowed us to have a stress free and enjoyable stay.The beaches and scenery were fantastic.we have recomended bali and Olympic Holidays to friends and families. All in all our holiday was amazing apart from the flights which were uncomfortable and crampted.

My friend and I have just returned from Liza Mari apartments. The studio was immaculately clean and the owners Vassilis and Stavrula were both very welcoming and friendly, Stavrula bakes on Sundays, so we had lovely home made cake. The pool in Liza Mari Hotel is over the road, quiet in October, so when the sun shone fantastic, sadly it rained for last part of holiday, but weather is less predictable in Oct. Beaches all close, easy to get a sun bed, though a bit close packed so high season might be a bit much for some. Plenty of bars and tavernas, we liked one round on Evita Beach set under the trees, but also Psararoloa (blue and white) set up overlooking the sea, been a family taverna since 70s, now run by brothers/brother in law. But all food we had was good with exception of Porto Paradiso, can only assume end of season malaise. Bar in the harbour that we liked was Posto, run by another Vassilis and his wife, less flash but lots of locals use it and Vassilis speaks fluent English. All in all Bali is a good place for a relatively chilled holiday and most people are very friendly. Boat trip to Rethymon is fun, but hang on tight and expect to get a little wet, my friend and I got soaked, but then we did pick wrong side of the boat and sea was choppy. Lastly Kelly our rep was great and had fantastic local knowledge, she was very honest and really helpful and easy to find either in the accomodation or walking about the resort.
