Our opinion: Basic standard of accommodation.

The Liza Mari Complex offers a simple standard of accommodation. A 200 metre walk will take you to the nearest beach and a one kilometre walk to the picturesque harbour. The pool at the complex is the perfect spot to relax during the day.

The pool is surrounded by a sun terrace with loungers, umbrellas and a pool-side bar serving cooling refreshments throughout the day. At guests disposal there are a nice reception area with safety deposit boxes available and a bar. During warm summer evenings guests can relax with a drink on their own private balcony or terrace. The complex offers comfortable but basic accommodation and boasts its own lovely pool and pool bar, ideal for couples.

The resort of Bali is very hilly and therefore not suitable for clients with walking difficulties.

Meals: All meals are buffet style served in the restaurant (opposite to the hotel). Breakfast 07.30-09.30, lunch 13.00-14.30 and dinner 19.00-21.00. Lunch baskets can also be prepared (on request from reception by 18:00 the night before). Snacks: served at the snack bar from 10.30-23.00. Drinks: available at the Snack Bar 10.30-23.00 serving water, white & red wine, draught beer, raki, ouzo, brandy, soft drink and juices as well as coffee & tea. During lunch & dinner only water, white & red wine, draught beer, soft drink and juices are served. Children: Ice creams are served 15.30-17.30.

  Yes they do, but you have to pay. I think we were quoted 70 euro for 2 weeks, but we did not need it in the end.

We returned on 30.8.11. Hotel clean. Has air con, but did not need it, because downstairs room cool. No mosqitoes and so slept with window open. Pool clean and nice. Half board food lovely and staff pleasant. You queue for food, but some Russian tourists tend to push in, we just made a joke out of it! Lovely cats and kittens like you to feed them and give them water. Be prepared to have no water in room around 6ish in the evening, when water in demand the delivery pipe can't cope, just try again after half hour. Hotel bar only reallly caters for the people who are fully inclusive and often does not have change to give, but plenty of bars and tavernas within walkiing distance. Cafe/bar over the road called Mountain veiw, great for morning coffee and pre dinner drinks. It has internet which is 50 Euro for half hour, you can use it for as long as you like just keep popping the coins in. Staff very nice. Trollis Hotel rooftop bar well worth a visit. Vangelis is a lovely barman and his friend sometimes plays traditional music on his accordian and Vangelis will get you to do some traditional dancing. Monday and Friday evenings at Panorama Taverna is brilliant they have a live band and traditional dancing at no extra cost, book a table though, because it gets busy. The only other place for entertainment is Crazy Town disco open nightly from 1030 pm. Beaches great plenty to choose from, make sure you visit them all, but be prepared for an invigorating walk up Cardiac Hill! 3 Sun beds 2 umbrellas 10 euro's for the day. Boat trip on Calypso 2 very uncomfortable take a cushion or towels to sit on, day trip about 24 euros each. Book Friday Heraklion/Konnos trip with local company, because it is only 15 Euro each, 6 euros each Knossos entrance, but under 18's free, you can pay a guide when you get there if you want, we were quoted 15 Euro for the 3 of us. Hotel rep Kelly very nice and helpful. Bali has no easily accessable bus service. Telephone over the road to hotel, buy a phone card from Supermarkets. Bali only has 1 cash machine which is on the way to the Harbour, we had no problem using our card.
