This friendly, newly refurbished, traditional Cretan style hotel is located in a quiet, picturesque part of Hersonissos, within easy reach of the beach, a small water park and the resort centre. The hotel offers a very pleasant atmosphere, especially its lovely pool area, snack bar and gardens. Due to its location away from the bustle of the resort centre, the Dimitra Hotel is the perfect place in which to relax.

If you're looking for a lively holiday, the attractive Semiramis Village could be just the hotel for you. Located in an elevated position with spectacular panoramic views over the sea and the mountains, the hotel offers a great value base from which to explore all that this section of the Cretian coast has to offer. This includes amazing scenery and some of the most exciting resorts on the island. Though within a short walking distance, buses from the stop just 200 metres from the hotel will whisk you in no time into the centre of the cosmopolitan town of Heronissos with its wide choice of shops, bars and buzzing nightspots and, a little further along the coast, is the well known party mecca of Malia. Within easy reach of the hotel are a number of pretty sand and shale beaches where a wide variety of watersports are on offer. Our opinion: Good standard of accommodation situated in the centre of Hersonissos.

Agrabella is situated on the northern shore of Crete, where the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea beautifully blend with the vast blue sky. Ideal for those who want to relax and enjoy the Cretan hospitality in the beautiful scenery of Crete. The accommodation is approximately 600 meters from the beach and pretty harbor of Hersonissos, and is located next to all the resort amenities.

Our opinion: This family owned spa hotel offers a welcoming atmosphere and a warm and friendly service. Luxurious spa therapies are available as either single or weekly programmes.

The Albatros Spa Resort Hotel is ideally situated just 25 metres from one of Hersonissos' sandy beaches and 400 metres from the resort of Hersonissos. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants within 20 metres and there is a supermarket within 50 metres of the hotel. The hotel has its own Spa, making it the ideal choice for those who wish to be pampered. Albatros Hotel is situated only 25 kms away from Heraklion International airport in the town of Hersonissos, a place which attracts thousands of visitors every summer. Regular direct bus service connects Hersonissos with major destinations all around the island. The nearest bus stop is only 350 metres away from the hotel.

The traditional Cretan Semiramis Village Hotel is located in a lovely spot on a hillside overlooking the town of Hersonissos, with spectacular sweeping views out over the bay. The centre of town, with its choice of shops, tavernas and nightlife, is just 1.5 kms away, and the nearest beach only 400 metres. Here, a number of exciting water sports are on offer, suitable for beginners or the more experienced. A pleasurable morning's walk will uncover many more pretty sand and shingles coves around this picturesque coastline. Back at the hotel, though, there are plenty of things to keep you there, from the wide range of sporting amenities to the relaxing massages, or simply days spent lazing around the resplendent pool. The Erie Sun village has 331 rooms offers great family accommodation and free use of the water park with slides for adults and children. Outside, the open-air swimming pool is surrounded by terraces, making it an ideal place to soak up the sun, while the pool serves a wide selection of cool drinks, refreshments and snacks throughout the day. For the more active guest there is gym. The onsite restaurant serves tempting cuisine and the bar/lounge is on hand for leisurely drinks. The Erie Sun village is an ideal choice for couples and families seeking a relaxing break with comfortable accommodation. Guests can take advantage of the all inclusive package experience here, which means that there's a full programme of activities during the day and at night, as well as all you can eat at buffets and unlimited local drinks valid until 223:00. Please note, due to the location of the property this hotel is not suited to those with walking difficulties.

The Eri Hotel & Village is located 1 kilometre from Hersonissos shopping centre. The Eri Hotel is close to all amenities of Hersonissos and Star beach Aqua park. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool, or work out at the gym. Alternatively, relax around the pool where there are plenty of sun-loungers laid out ready to use. The pool bar serves light snacks and cold beverages throughout the day while you sit back and relax. Children will be more than happy in the kids' club, the playground or the paddling pool. Guests can take advantage of the all inclusive package experience here, which means that there's a full programme of activities during the day and at night, as well as all you can eat at buffets and unlimited local drinks valid until 22:00.
