Our opinion: Traditional style accommodation, friendly owners.These well maintained Cretan style studios and apartments are renowned for the friendliness of their owners. Situated on the busy main road these apartments are a fifteen minute walk from the small village resort of Analpsi. The pleasant garden area surrounding the pool enables you to enjoy relaxing days, or as an alternative the beach is 1.5km away. The main resort of Hersonissos is a 3km drive away.
Mareva Apartments
Our opinion: This simple, family run accommodation in a relaxing location and is ideal for couples.The Mareva Apartments are set in a relaxing location half way between the resorts of Hersonissos and Koutouloufari. The main street of Hersonissos is only 400 metres away where local amenities can be found. This property is situated on a hillside location.
Stavros Studios
Our opinion: Family run property set within lovely garden area.Family run studios which boast attractive, well maintained gardens and a lovely pool area. The Stavros Studios are set back slightly from the main road in the quieter resort of Analipsi with the busy resort of Hersonissos just a ten minute drive away. The local bars, tavernas and shops can be found a 600 metre walk away whilst the beach is a 1.5 kilometre walk away.
Dimitra Hotel
Our opinion: A welcoming hotel located in a quiet peaceful area. Offering a very friendly atmosphere with pleasant staff and basic facilities.This friendly, newly refurbished, traditional Cretan style hotel is located in a quiet, picturesque part of Hersonissos, within easy reach of the beach, a small water park and the resort centre. The hotel offers a very pleasant atmosphere, especially its lovely pool area, snack bar and gardens. Due to its location away from the bustle of the resort centre, the Dimitra Hotel is the perfect place in which to relax.
Agrabella Hotel
Our opinion: Good standard of accommodation situated in the centre of Hersonissos.Agrabella is situated on the northern shore of Crete, where the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea beautifully blend with the vast blue sky. Ideal for those who want to relax and enjoy the Cretan hospitality in the beautiful scenery of Crete. The accommodation is approximately 600 meters from the beach and pretty harbor of Hersonissos, and is located next to all the resort amenities. Please note that this accommodation is not suitable for those with walking difficulties.
Star Beach Hotel Village
Our opinion: Excellent hotel for all age groups.The Star Beach Hotel Village is located off the main road, just outside the centre of Hersonissos and only 50 metres from the seafront. This stylish, newly-built hotel offers guests a spectacular view over the Cretan sea and the high standards of service and hospitality ensure a relaxing and care-free stay. The hotel has its own water park - the Star Beach Water Park.
Esperides Villas
Our opinion: Excellent holiday destination for those wishing to stay in relaxed environment, yet within easy reach of all the attractions in the area.Located in the traditional Greek village of Koutouloufari, on the outskirts of Hersonissos, the attractively furnished Esperides Villas are a good choice for those seeking a peaceful holiday base within easy reach of all the sights in the area.There are many fascinating shops to explore among the quaint cobbled streets, as well as charming tavernas to relax in whilst enjoying delicious local dishes. Guests can lounge by a superb pool complete with a poolside bar serving refreshing drinks, all set in attractive gardens. Hersonissos resort centre and the nearest beach are only 1km away.
Semiramis Village Hotel
Our opinion: Ideal for those who want to explore the surrounding area from a comfortable base.Set in an elevated position above the outskirts of Hersonissos, this traditional Cretan style accommodation is perfect for exploring both Hersonissos and the nearby resort of Stalida. Located 2.5 kilometres from the centre of Hersonissos and its many shops, tavernas and active night life. A variety of small sand/shale beaches are within a 25 minute walk.
Albatros Hotel
Our opinion: This family owned spa hotel offers a welcoming atmosphere and a warm and friendly service. Luxurious spa therapies are available as either single or weekly programmes.The recently renovated Albatros Spa & Resort Hotel is ideally situated just 25 metres from one of Hersonissos' sandy beaches and 400 metres from the resort of Hersonissos. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants within 20 metres and there is a supermarket within 50 metres of the hotel. The hotel has its own Spa, making it the ideal choice for those who wish to be pampered.
Mediterraneo Hotel All Inclusive
Our opinion: A modern, well maintained hotel complex situated on an elevated side road that overlooks the beach in Hersonissos.The well maintained Mediterraneo Hotel is a modern complex situated on an elevated side road that overlooks the beach of Hersonissos, offering privacy, quietness, luxury and panoramic sea views. The many bars, restaurants, tavernas and shops of the resort centre are only 1.2 kilometres from the hotel. There are several small sand/shingle beaches within a 20 minute walk. Access to taxis and buses is a 10-15 minute walk away and there is a regular service to the resort of Heraklion.
