Our opinion:
An excellent choice for a relaxing holiday in a tranquil setting.
The Mirabello Apartments are set in a quiet, elevated position in Aghia Marina with stunning sea views from many rooms. The complex is split into two separate buildings which are 100 metres apart. Each studio is equipped with a kitchenette and bath or shower. The sizeable pool in the gardens is the place to spend lazy, sunny days, relaxing on the sun loungers with a cooling drink from the adjacent bar.
The resort centre of Ayia Marina offers facilities to suit all ages and is a pleasant 10-15-minute walk away, where tavernas offer local cuisine. In high season there is a good choice of bars and a few lively beach side clubs to spend the days and nights. Fabulous beaches are to be found along the coast and 12 kms away is Chania Town, with it's Venetian harbour and other sights for seeing. Please note this accommodation is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.
Studios sleep 2/3 and have twin beds, air conditioning (payable locally), cooking rings and a bath or shower with inland view. One bedroom apartments sleep 2/4 or 2/3 with inland view. All of the apartments and studios have air conditioning which is payable locally.
Fabulous accommodation and resort. Have stayed in the main block and in the villa nearby. Lovely relaxing holiday, never crowded or noisy but close to tavernas and bars and only a short bus ride from Chania. Friendly staff and a great supermarket (Anna Maria's) nearby. Looking forward to returning again!

Stayed at these apartments twice and would go back again! Well looked after, Lefti the man who ran the pool bar would go out of his way to help you. Close to everything but as it is set back from the main road its quiet and relaxing. Would recommend it to anyone!

Just retuned from 2 fabulous weeks at the Mirabello, it was our second visit and was every bit as good as the first.Great view from our apartment in the main block which could not be faulted for comfort or cleanliness.The pool area and garden were also immaculate. Costas the owner was the perfect host and the pool bar manager Lefteris made everybody welcome, nothing was too much trouble for him.We would thoroughly recommend foe a perfect relaxing holiday.

beautiful location, just far enough from main road but close to beach and surrounded by great tavernas. Great accomodation, been twice. lovely for familys.

very attractive villa with big garden- short walk to beach and several supermarkets.
lots of tavernas close by.
Very family friendly with good pool and bar and cafe on site.

well maintained aparatments and villa about 2 minutes walk away from the pool. cleaned regurlarly and towels and sheets changed every three days. away from crowds but short walk to beach. would visit again

3rd visit to crete,1st time at mirabello.kids age 14&11yrs.loved it.must try it.very clean.friendly& Costas&Lefteris (loud but nice)made the stay even better.

Merabello (spelt correctly here!) Apts is a must if you want to have a quiet break away from it all. I have been to Crete before, but it was my first time in Ag. marina - it definately wont be the last. A lovely place, where the amenities/ tavernas/ links to Chania are superb - everything you need is no more than 10 mins away. The service from the Bar manager (Lefteris) is 1st class and Kostas is always available if you require anything (even the kids are well behaved!!) - Both provide a personal touch to all their visiters which makes it feel like a home from home. The Apts are well maintained and cleaned regularly - I would recommend this place to anybody - We will be going back next year for another lovely week!

I have visited Crete every year for the last 25 years and have never had such a large, well furnished and well maintained studio, large enough to swing several cats not counting the balcony area. View over the extensive gardens and pool spectacular. I was never keen on Agia Marina as a destination but couldn't resist Olympic's very keen prices and the superb accommodation made up for any doubts on that score. Very good Tavernas, particularly TEMPO just at the foot of the road down from the Merabello (recommend their Drunken Chicken!).
