The resort of Milatos is a traditional village in a secluded area. The caves in Milatos are a must. This small village has a supermarket and a sandy/rocky beach with a selction of water sports on offer. It is 50 km far from the international airport in Heraklion. It is only 15 minutes from Malia and 20 minutes from Hersonissos , and 25 minutes from Agios Nikolaos. The resort of Sissi is approximately 9 km away where you will find a selection of shops, tavernas, restaurants and a few bars, alternatively a bus to Heraklion & Ag Nikolas runs daily. Milatos has about 500 residents and there are holiday houses nearby the Milatou Beach. There is an old chapel and near it there are 3 old taverns and other 8 newer taverns . There are three food shops you can procure everything.
