The accommodation is typically Greek and well maintained. A gentle five minute downhill stroll brings you to the harbour of Emborio with its sprinkling of bars, shops and tavernas and the small sandy beach of Pondamos is a fifteen minute walk away.

Our opinion: Spacious studios with spectacular views over Emborio harbour and the traditional village houses.These spacious studios offer spectacular views over Emborio harbour and the traditional village houses. Situated in a slightly elevated position with the sandy beach of Pondamos just a 10 minute walk away. Emborio harbour with its small selection of bars, shops and tavernas is 8 minutes away.
Stamatia Studios
The Stamatia Studios are located in Emborio, the main town on the island of Halki. The studios consist of a three floor building made up of a studio on the top floor, a two bedroom apartment on the middle floor and another studio on the ground floor. The studios are a six minute walk away up from the harbour side. The sandy Pondamos beach is a six minute walk away. The village of Emborio is the only settlement on the island of Halki and is an idyllic town made up of red-tiled roofs, Venetian-style Greek houses and picturesque views, all built around the horseshoe shaped bay against a backdrop of stunning rugged mountains. The local inhabitants make a living from fishing, farming and in more recent years, tourism. It is well worth visiting this gem of an island that is hidden from the main tourist track. The waterfront area of Emborio town is called the 'Piatsa' and is the heart of the village where people gather for coffee and fresh fish dishes at the tavernas. There are almost no cars or motorbikes on the island of Halki, except for a few taxis. The Stamatia Studios are ideal for those seeking peace, tranquility and a taste of real Greek charm.

Our opinion: The well maintained Petros Apartments are ideal for a relaxing holiday.The well maintained Petros Apartments are situated in the centre of Emborio village with views over the pretty harbour from the upper floor apartment. Tavernas, bars and shops are close by and the sandy Pondamos Beach is under 10 minutes away. Petros is an ideal setting for a relaxing holiday.
Villa Nina
Our opinion: Villa Nina is in an ideal setting for a relaxing holiday. Superb views can be enjoyed from the veranda.Villa Nina is situated close to the sea and enjoys sweeping views of Halki from the upper level. It is mainly decorated in white trimmed with pink and has a bamboo-covered pergola. The two bedrooms have separate entrances, making it ideal for two couples or a family or a group of friends. The village centre is a few minute's walk away and behind the accommodation there are bays to explore.

Our opinion: Spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped, set in a convenient location.The Petraki Apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped. Situated in Emborio, near to the church, the large private veranda provides an excellent view of the colourful harbour. Due to its convenient location, the bars, tavernas and shops of the village are all close by, with Pandamos Beach within easy reach.
