The Liza Mari Complex offers a simple standard of accommodation. A 200 metre walk will take you to the nearest beach and a one kilometre walk to the picturesque harbour. The pool at the complex is the perfect spot to relax during the day. The pool is surrounded by a sun terrace with loungers, umbrellas and a pool-side bar serving cooling refreshments throughout the day. There is a reception area with safety deposit boxes for guest's use as well as a bar. During warm summer evenings guests can relax with a drink on their own private balcony or terrace. The complex offers comfortable but basic accommodation and boasts its own lovely pool and pool bar, ideal for couples. The resort of Bali is very hilly and therefore not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.

Our opinion: Surrounded by beautiful gardens, these studios offer an excellent location right on the harbour.

The Gregory Studios are situated in the Bali area of Rethymnon. The traditional fishing village offers beautiful surroundings and a great selection of tavernas located around the harbour. Bali also has a great selection of modern cafeterias and supermarkets. These self-catering studios offer basic but comfortable holiday accommodation which makes it perfect for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The village of Bali is hidden in a small cove, between a large peninsula and mountainous range. If your looking for a quiet holiday, then choosing Bali would be ideal. There are several beaches in the area offering a range of leisure activities. The season runs from April to October when the temperature srange from 25-38 degrees. A Bali holiday is great for couples and families alike.

It's suitable for the independent holidaymaker and couple who likes to be out and about having fun with somewhere comfortable to come back and rest their head. The hotel has basic yet comfortable accommodation with a mixture of studios and one bedroom apartments. All rooms are fully equipped with refrigerator, kitchen, toilet and balconies, with sea and mountain view. Bali apartments are 50 metres from the beach and in the streets around the apartments you'll find a handful of shops and restaurants. Bali is a small fishing village, it has a small picturesque harbour and lots of small coves with wonderful clear beaches. Recent years Bali has been developed to a popular tourist resort but it is still preserves its traditional character. Ideal place for family holidays, with small hotels and lovely taverns serving fresh fish and local specialities.

The low key nightlife of Bali is within walking distance. The friendly staff and cosy atmosphere will ensure a relaxing stay. The property has an outdoor fresh water swimming pool (located at Sofia Apartments). The pool is surrounded by relaxing terraces with parasols and loungers, an ideal place to soak up the sunshine. Facilities on offer include a reception, bar, restaurant and internet access. This Sofia Mythos Beach is ideal for families and couples looking for beach front accommodation in a central location on the island, an ideal base for exploring. Please note that this accommodation is not suitable for those with walking difficulties.

The Bali Mare Apartments are located in the wonderful unspoilt village of Bali in Crete. Because of its hillside location Bali Mare apartments offer beautiful panoramic sea and mountain views. As well as comfortable, well-equipped accommodation, there is a good range of amenities available on site. One of Bali's beaches is 200 metres from the hotel and the resort centre is 800 metres away.

The Bali Beach and Village Hotel is situated overlooking a small sandy cove in the picturesque fishing village of Bali. The hotel is split into two parts with the main building, reception, lobby area, restaurant, swimming pool, pool bar and lobby bar in front of the beach. The village area of the hotel is situated across the road along with a swimming pool, sun terrace and pool bar. It is an ideal hotel for quiet, restful holidays in original Greek Cretan surroundings. The hotel consist of 125 renovated hotel rooms, which are fully equipped with private bath or shower, satellite TV with music channel, mini-refrigerator, air-conditioning, safe deposit box, direct dial telephone, hair dryer and a balcony or terrace. Guests can spend time in the main bar of the hotel which is open from the early afternoon until late enjoying a wide variety of drinks and cocktails, listening to music whilst taking in the view of the bay of Bali. During the day at the beach bar 'Meltemi' guests can relax beside the sea enjoying refreshing cocktails, soft drinks, juices or a light meal. Bali was a small fishing village but over the years has developed into a charming holiday resort and overlooks the little fishing harbour and the sea. It is a very attractive and romantic place, combining sea and mountains. Life is easy going enabling guests to enjoy the sun and the clear calm sea at a number of sandy and shingle beaches. Bali offers a large choice of tavernas, restaurants, little shops, a diving school, bars and discos (you can also find a surgery and pharmacy). It is 25 km to Rethymnon and about 45 km to Heraklion, where the nearest airport and a port can be found.

The Nostos Beach is a delightful, compact hotel of 15 studios and apartments, with a bright and relaxing atmosphere, and friendly welcome. With a pretty pink and grey exterior, the main hotel building fringes two sides of an inviting, fresh water, turquoise pool, where bright blue sunbeds and parasols adorn a sunbathing terrace, in the shade of palm trees to one side. There is also a children's section of pool for safety. Rooms are spacious, cool and comfortably furnished, and equipped with you all you need for a relaxing stay. Each has a roomy balcony which overlooks the sea. Both the poolside bar and beach bar offer an assortment of snacks and both alcoholic and soft drinks, and a wide variety of cocktails. The hotel is situated in the quiet seaside village of Bali, a stunning beautiful area, with a large, sandy beach just 10 metres away from the Nostos Beach Hotel. The name Bali is the Turkish word for 'honey' reflecting the fact that excellent honey was produced and collected here. It is an enchanting, small village located 38 kms east of Rethymnon and 51 kms west of Heraklion and has grown up around a series of small coves where diving, sailing, canoeing and other water-sports can be enjoyed. Holidaymakers will find excellent seafood restaurants as well as a few tavernas and cafes in the centre of the village. Sightseers will be drawn to the Monastery of Agios (Saint) Ioannis, nearby, with lovely frescoes in the church of the Monastery and a serene garden courtyard.
