Myrties is a small holiday destinations which is on the west coast of Kalymnos, approximately 8 km from Pothia. Myrties in the middle is the harbour town with the quay which the boats to the neighbouring islands of Telendos and Leros leave from. The beach in Mirties is somewhat smaller, approximately 100 m long and with pebbles, but also has numerous small tavernas and bars. Just outside Mirties is a 50 m long sandy beach, Melitsahas. The sea around the island is clear and clean with loads of fish - perfect conditions for snorkelling.

Nearby is the lovely beach of Myrties (Catch a boat to Telendos - approx a 10 minutes drive).
