Our opinion: This is a perfect hotel for couples wanting a romantic holiday in a scenically stunning location. The rooms are bright and comfortable.
The Gonatas Hotel is located on the outskirts of Agia Efimia, a short walk from the centre and just seventy five metres from Paradise Beach. Set in its own attractive gardens the hotel boasts fantastic views of the island of Ithaka and the bay of Sami. During the day guests can unwind on the beach or alternatively enjoy a refreshing dip in the complex's inviting swimming pool, surrounded by sun loungers and parasols. The poolside bar serves snacks and refreshments to accompany lazy days in the sun, while the restaurant offers delicious local and international cuisine. The hotel is 900 metres to the village of Aghia Efimia with a sprinkling of charming tavernas and bars.
