Our opinion: This is a brand new hotel in an idyllic location, perfect for couples and families looking for the perfect getaway.

The modern Ionian Emerald Resort is located in the small village of Karavomylos on the sea front. The hotel is modern with stylish furnishings and there is a small beach at the front where fishing boats are anchored and there are more beaches close by. Karavomylos is a small, quiet village with only a couple of tavernas whilst Sami, only 2 kms away, is a much larger village with plenty of tavernas, restaurants and bars. Unwind, relax and feel perfectly pampered in the hotel spa (payable locally).

The Ionian Emerald Resort has spacious and comfortable guest rooms all designed in a contemporary style with a balcony or terrace overlooking the pool and sea.
