Where to stay in Lourdas

The Lovides Studios are located amongst an olive grove not far from the resort centre of Lourdas (approximately 800 metres away) which offers a range of bars and tavernas. It is approximately a 1.5 kilometre walk to the main beach in Lourdas. The main beach is down a steep hill. A torch is recommended for returning to the studios at night.

Ideally located with picturesque views of the sea and surrounding countryside these delightful studios are furnished to a good standard. We advise you pack a good pair of shoes as there will be a fair bit of walking. The beach of Lourdas is around two kilometres away down a winding road with just a five minute walk to a selection of mini markets, tavernas and bar. Car hire is recommended to make the most of this beautiful Island.

The Maria Anna Hotel offers a traditional, family run accommodation situated at the top of the resort of Lourdas. The hotel gives you scenic views overlooking either Kefalonia's highest mountain or the sea. It has its own pool for you to relax around and is situated approximately 2 kilometres away from the beach, which is found at the bottom of a winding road that leads you through the hilly resort. Once at the bottom you will be rewarded with a beautiful beach made up of white sand and shingle. The hotel is situated close to the resort's good selection of tavernas, bars and supermarkets. Car hire is recommended to discover the fantastic Kefalonia scenery.

The hotel is situated between the village square and the beach, both just a five minute walk away and down a steep hill, where you will find a few tavernas and shops. Pack a good pair of walking shoes for the winding hill roads and car hire is recommended to discover this beautiful island.
