Our opinion:
This lovely hotel offers superb accommodation set on a hillside which slopes gently to the sea with wonderful panoramic views. This new resort really is an accommodation to be beaten.
Recommended as an ideal hotel for adults, the Mareblue Apostolata Resort & Spa Hotel offers superb accommodation for the more discerning traveler. Situated just 4 kilometres from the charming resort of Scala where there are excellent beaches and amenities, the Apostolata Resort is set on a hillside which slopes gently to the sea, offering wonderful panoramic views. The infinity pool also offers some breathtaking sea views not to be missed. Additionally, nesting grounds for the Caretta-Caretta Turtle can be found in the area. The hotel provides a complimentary bus service to Poros and Scala. The surrounding area is simply beautiful and Scala offers a stunning vast stretch of sand/shingle beach with sparkling turquoise waters. We would recommend car hire at this property to make the most of the surrounding area.

19 July 2011 Best family holiday we've ever had. fantastic pool, never short of sun loungers, the staff were and friendly and helpful, the food was good and surprisingly varied, so much so that we should have gone all inclusive! Oh! and the pool bar served lovely milkshakes! The hotel was 3km from Skala so you couldn't really walk to the town but luckily we'd hired a car for 12 days. We did a day out to Melissani Lake and Drogoratti caves and found a beach called anti samos which was great for snorkelling and water sports. The steps from the hotel down to the pool weren't steep or difficult. I was surprised at the food in the restaurant as so more choice as my children can be fussy eaters. All in all a very good holiday weather 32C minimum most days. We all love Greece and especially Skala and can't wait to go again soon!

22/09/2011 Just got back from a week at this hotel, could not fault it. Lovely hotel built into the side of a hill with stunning views. Service was 1st class with all staff being very friendly. The only niggle I had was with guests going down to the pool early in the morning and draping towels over seats then disappearing for breakfast and later lunch. We went all inclusive which is well worth it, food was varied and very tasty especially the lamb dishes. We hired a car for our stay which enabled us to seek out those little deserted coves and villages which the coach excursions miss. Will certainly go back

29 September 2011 lovely holiday, good pool, never short of sun loungers, the staff were helpful and friendly, the food was good and surprisingly varied, The hotel was 3km from Skala so you couldn't really walk to the town so need to hire a car to go out and about. If you are booked into the superior rooms beware you have to walk over 190 steps to get to the hotel for food and the pool which at 35C can be tiresome and not made clear when booking. If you book into the standard rooms no problem but no sea view. All in all a very good holiday.
