Set in a quieter location, bike or car hire is recommended.Situated in a peaceful area, the Oasis Apartments are set in the countryside on the outskirts of Kos Town and are ideal for those who enjoy relaxing around the pool and taking in the surrounding scenery. A 20-25 minute walk will take you to numerous shops, bars and restaurants in the nearby village of Platani. The beach of Lambi is 1.5 kilometres away and the town centre is 3 kilometres away. Car hire or bicycle hire is highly recommended to make the most of your stay and explore the local area. A torch is advisable for those evening strolls.

Our opinion: This welcoming property is a good three star hotel which offers a personalised service, attracting many repeat guests year after year.The family-run Niriides Beach Hotel offers comfortable accommodation, friendly and professional staff and good in-house facilities. It is ideal for those seeking a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Kos Town is approximately 1.6 kilometres away and there is a private shingle beach located across the road. Water sports are available at Psalidi Beach, which is 500 metres away. Fully renovated in 2009.

Our opinion: Perfect for couples, families and groups of friends, the Philippion with its central location is a great accommodation for a fun, sun-filled getaway.The Philippion is clean, contemporary and right in the centre of town, this attractive hotel is in an excellent location with the gorgeous golden sandy beach just a five minute stroll away. There are plenty of shops, bars & restaurants right on your doorstep. The friendly staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable from the moment you arrive, you'll feel right at home. There is a large L-shaped pool surrounded by a smart terrace area with swishing palm trees, sunbeds and parasols, there's also a pool bar so refreshments are on hand the whole day. The hotel is located 50 metres from shops, bars & restaurants, 200 metres from the beach and 500 metres from nightclubs.

Our opinion: Kos Aktis Hotel represents a great value, especially for those who want to make the city of Kos their base as the hotel's location is very central, but still right on the sea.Kos Aktis Art hotel is ideally situated in the most privileged historical and commercial location on Kos Island. It is only 300 metres from the Castle and commercial port, 500 metres from the taxi station, 700 metres from the newly constructed marina and is built practically right on the beach. Kos Aktis was originally built in the 1960s, but recently was redesigned and completely renovated. The decor is clean, modern and minimal - very pleasing to the eye. Kos Aktis Art Hotel is best suited for young couples, singles, families with teenagers and older travellers looking to spend their holiday in a centrally located trendy accommodation with direct access to the beach.
