Our opinion: Set on a hillside location, on the outskirts of Kos Town, the Aristo affords beautiful sea views. Ideal for families and couples.

Set in a quiet location on a hill in Psalidi is the friendly, family run Aristo Apartments, where beautiful sea views await you. It is made up of 4 blocks of apartments set around a swimming pool. Each studio and apartment consist of a kitchenette with 2 ring hobs and a fridge, bathroom with shower, sun loungers around the swimming pool and a pool bar. The main reception also has a TV lounge. The shingle beach is a 20 minute stroll away, ideal for families and couples. A supermarket is also within close proximity to the accommodation.

Has the potential for being a great place, much further from Kos Town than we anticipated but that was made easy with the great bus service. Apartments bigger than expected but would benefit from a toaster & kettle. Cots were a health & safety hazard, (didn't expect my daughter to fall out of the bottom if she rolled to the edge). The pool area was lovely although could be better maintained & the queue for the sunbeds at 6am made for an earlier start than normal! Children's play area near the pool was demolished by non-paying guests & not replaced, "overgrown" larger play area too far from pool & bar to be able to supervise children. Aristo night was fab & lovely to see traditional greek entertainment but fireworks, claxons & very loud music 'til the early hours most nights is not what we expected when we booked an out of town apartment recommended for families.
