The Museum of Gramophones: The museum exhibits, as its name indicates a collection of gramophones but also various other objects related to the every day life of the islanders such as jewels, coins, embroideries, photographs and traditional musical instruments. The Agios Ioannis Antzoussis church: Situated 3 kilometres west of Lefkada Town, this church is the oldest church of the island. It was built by the Franks on the top of a rock on the site where an older church used to stand. Some said that Apostle Paul stopped here on his way to Rome, to spread Christianity.
Orpheus Society Folk Art Museum: Traditional Lefkadian textiles, the Lefkadian loom and traditional costumes. These are just some of the exhibits at the museum of the Orpheus Society which, apart from a museum also runs a choir, a musical school, a theatrical department and a radio station.

Getting Around on Nydri Holidays
Boat: There are two ferry boat services operating from Lefkas: The ferryboat 'Meganissi' shuttles between Nidri and the little ports of Spilia (Spartohori) and Vathy (Vathi), on the Island of Meganisi. The journey time is approximately 20 minutes and carries cars and foot passengers.
The ferryboat 'Captain Aristides' operates a service to the Islands of Kefalonia (Fiscardo) and Ithaka (Frikes) to the south of Lefkas. In the low season, the ferry operates from Vasiliki on the south coast of Lefkas. During June and the high season it departs from Nidri.
Bus: The KTEL service down the East Coast between Lefkas Town and Nidri is fairly frequent and popular. Getting to the West Coast and inland villages can be more difficult as often there is only one bus per day. (Very few buses run during the 'Siesta' (between approx. 14.00 and 18.00), and services are limited on Sundays and Bank Holidays.)
The Main Bus Station in Lefkada Town is located on Golemi Street, on the harbour front road.
Taxi: Taxis are reasonable if two or three people are sharing a trip to a site.
Car Hire: An excellent way of getting around during Nydri holidays, car hire gives you complete flexibility as well as the ability to see more of the island.
