Our opinion: Close to the waterfront and all the facilities of Nidri.The Demetra studios are well maintained and have delightful little mature garden spaces throughout the small complex. With everything you need for a great self catering holiday, they offer the perfect base for a relaxing holiday in the sun. Set on the seafront overlooking the marina of Nidri, this is a great location as it is close to all the amenities including restaurants, bars and the local bus stop. The island of Lefkada, also called Lefkas, is the fourth largest island of the Ionian Islands. Lefkada is connected to the mainland of Greece by a long road over the narrow canal. Nidri is one of the best and most cosmopolitan resorts on Lefkada. The beach here is beautiful and offers wonderful views over many islets such as Heloni, Scorpio, and Madouri. The beach has many facilities such as restaurants, shops, tavernas and bars which ensures that any day spent at this beach is an enjoyable one.
Sands Hotel
Our opinion: A lovely, welcoming little hotel on an unspoilt Greek island.The Sands Hotel is situated in a great spot, 50 metres from the main beach in Nidri and just 5 minutes stroll from the vibrant town centre and harbour. Guests are given a warm welcome with hospitality geared towards ensuring you relax and make the most of your holiday. There is a pretty swimming pool edged with greenery and sun loungers and parasols are available to get the unwinding underway. Air-conditioned rooms are cool and pretty, each with a fridge, a hob, private bathroom and a balcony - in short, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The lively bar provides a pool table and satellite TV for your entertainment while you sip from a choice of delicious cocktails. Order one from outdoor Jacuzzi for a spot of real indulgence. An enticing English breakfast and varied menu can be enjoyed indoors or by the pool.

Great for those who want privacy and relaxation.Summer Villa, Sunset Villa and Sun Villa are located up a steep, unsurfaced road in an elevated position, offering magnificent views looking out over the bay to Ithaca and Kefalonia. These lovely villas are ideal for couples seeking a romantic, peaceful holiday in a fairly isolated position. A few tavernas and restaurants can be found in the resort of Ponti and there is a wider selection of shops and restaurants about 2 kilometres away in the beautiful harbour area of Vasiliki. With free car hire included, you can really make the most of this beautiful island. The views are truly breathtaking, making these villas perfect for those seeking a unique location for their holiday. Due to the location, this villa is not suitable for young children.

The Porto Galini Hotel and Spa nestles into the hillside, on the east coast of Lefkas Island, between the towns of Lefkada and Nidri. Our opinion: A very modern and nicely decorated villa. A good base from which to explore.Set in an olive grove with panoramic views overlooking the bays of Vlicho & Geni, the Lemonia Villa is located in the countryside and is 6 kilometres outside the resort of Nidri. Nidri is a quiet resort surrounded by a relatively flat area which is ideal for leisurely strolls. Make the most of your free car hire and explore the Nidri waterfalls near Rahi village, or visit Vlicho bay and the pretty white church of Agia Kiriaki. Nidri village offers plenty of restaurants catering for all tastes. The beaches of the resort are gently shelving, mainly sand/shingle with clear waters.
Kerasia Villa and Free Car
Our opinion: A very modern and nicely decorated villa. Our opinion: Luxurious hotel providing superb facilities, professional service and boasting spectacular views of the Ionian Sea.The luxurious Ionian Blue Hotel opened in 2004 and offers guests beautiful surroundings and breathtaking views of the sea. It is around 5 kilometres away from the town of Nidri where a great selection of restaurants, bars and shops can be found. Excellent service combined with a great variety of facilities will ensure a relaxing and unforgettable stay.
