The Cyclades are islands that dreams are made of with pretty whitewashed buildings glistening under a dependable sun and golden beaches beckoning you from posters on a grey day. Each island has a character of its own making island hopping one of the most popular ways to holiday here.
On this cruise you will visit some of the largest islands in the group, including Mykonos, Santorini and Naxos, and some lesser-known ones too. You won't have to worry about the arrangements or wait for ferries, but will travel in comfort with friends old or new aboard the magnificent Aegeotissa. Up to 20 passengers can be accommodated in 10 air-conditioned cabins each with private facilities and breakfast, lunch and some light refreshments included.
The cruise begins with a welcome reception and ends with a farewell party, but every day in between brings a new horizon with fresh things to see and do. The 5-6 man crew, in separate quarters, will usually cast off at 6am, and so you may wake to find yourself bobbing on the warm waters. After breakfast, the fun begins on board with water sports including water skiing and the banana boat, or karaoke and games and with a stop-off for a cooling dip in the Aegean from a different beach each day. In the afternoon, it's time to head for a new destination where, as temperatures begin to cool, you're free to explore. An orientation walk on each island will set you on the right track to appreciate the cultural attractions, choose a restaurant for dinner or try out the local night life. But be sure to be back by 5am if you don't want to be left behind!

Itinerary
Day 1: Mykonos Island (Paranga Beach) - Overnight stay at Mykonos Island.
(6 nautical miles) 50 mins
Arrive at Mykonos Airport. Coach transfer to the port by the Tour Leader. Boarding starts at 14.00 - Departure scheduled for 15.30. You would start by getting to know each other and then go into a detailed overview of the sailing itinerary. Your trip is kick started by sailing to Paranga Beach, a well organised beach, where you stay for a few hours to sunbathe, swim and enjoy great cocktails by the buzzing beach bars. For those who wish to spend more time by the bars at Paranga beach and the parties that carry into the night, a timely transfer can be arranged back to the port. The evening finds you at the port of Mykonos, where you spend the rest of the night. Following dinner on board, you will have an orientation tour around Mykonos Town, the Chora, and enjoy ample free time for everyone. Nightlife at Mykonos reserves something special for every taste, whether it's strolling around whitewashed narrow pebbled stone alleys or absorbing the vibrant and very cosmopolitan bars and clubs that cater for every taste.
Day 2: Mykonos Island - Paros Island (Marcello Beach) - Overnight stay at Paros Island.

You will be setting sail to Paros early in the morning. Breakfast is served on board. First stop Marcello, a long beach of fine white sand. It is there, right into blue crystal waters, that you can enjoy the swim of the day. After a light lunch on board, you leave Marcello beach and sail to the main port of the island. Paros is one of the most well known and historically important islands of Cyclades. After Dinner, an orientation tour will follow. Enjoy your night in the picturesque villages of Parikia & Naoussa, reputed for their bustling nightlife.
Day 3: Paros Island - Despotiko Island-Overnight stay at Koufonisi Island.

Yet again you set sail early in the morning, taking our energising breakfast on board. You make your first stop at Despotiko Island, for a relaxing swim and some playful time for canoe racing by the beach! Following light lunch on board, you leave this jewel of the Aegean and sail on to the next one. Koufonisi Island is the smallest of the Small Eastern Cyclades, but also the most populated! After dinner you go on a tour around the Chora, the charming village at the heart of the island. A heart that also beats on all-night-long groovy rhythms!
Day 4: Koufonisi Island - Santorini Island (Fira) - Overnight stay at Santorini Island.

Early in the morning, you shall be sailing to Santorini. Breakfast is served on board. You make a stop at Fira, the capital of Santorini and its most lively village. Following the orientation tour you will have plenty of free time to explore the countless picture-perfect spots around the low lying, whitewashed cubical houses next to blue domed churches and sun-bathed colourful verandas. During peak season the small streets are bustling with life along the many shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and nightclubs all set in a real postcard backdrop. In the evening the edges of the caldera see crowds gather in their hundreds to capture the breathtaking sun setting views that Santorini is internationally known for. Alternatively, one can decide to take a tour of the Caldera at an extra cost. Light lunch and dinner are offered on board.
Day 5: Santorini Island - Ios Island (Maganari Beach) - Overnight stay at Ios Island.

Early in the morning, you leave Santorini to sail to the captivating Maganari Beach, one of the most famous beaches of Ios Island with magnificent views of natural surroundings. Enjoy swimming in the crystalline emerald waters and sunbathing on the golden sandy beach. You can also do some water sports (tubes), at an extra cost. Following light lunch on board, you sail to the port of the island. Ios is renowned for its vivid nightlife and carries proudly the reputation of a classic party island. After dinner on board, an orientation tour will follow. Embark on a discovery journey across Ios' cafes, bars and nightclubs till dawn!!
Day 6: Ios Island - Schinousa Island - Overnight stay at Naxos Island.

Early departure from Ios and on course to Schinousa island. A truly amazing crystal clear sea by a dreamlike golden beach ideal for snorkeling. After the light lunch on board, you sail to Naxos Island. Right after dinner, an orientation tour will give you a head start at Naxos chora with its Venetian castle and stone paved alleyways (kalderimia) where one can combine Cycladic and Medieval history and culture, with shopping and vibrant entertainment.
Day 7: Naxos Island - Rhenia Islet - Overnight stay at Mykonos Island.
Naxos - Rinia (18 nautical miles) 2 hours & 15 mins & Rinia - Mykonos (5 nautical miles) 45 mins
You set sail back to Mykonos Island early in the morning, while taking your breakfast on board. A stop at Rhenia Islet will revive you! Get prepared to treat yourself to a BBQ beach party! What is there to do? Absolutely nothing, except eat, drink, live the moment and be merry!! You will also have the chance to take a tour to Delos Island, one of the most important mythological, historical and archaeological sites in Greece... Delos held a position as the holy Athenian sanctuary for a millennium before Olympian Greek mythology made it known for the birthplace of god Apollo and goddess Artemis. You may think its over, but do save your strength, as following your dinner on board, your last night on this unique cruise is bound to commence and Mykonos is ready for you!!
Day 8: Mykonos Island - Transfer to the airport.
It is early morning. You have just finished your breakfast on board and you get your personal belongings ready for the transfer to the airport and you will be truly sorry to leave. Hopefully your memories in your hearts and cameras will carry you back to all the wonderful locations you experienced along this trip. One thing is certain, talking about it with your friend's back home craving you take them with you next time round!
