Our opinion: Well located with plenty to do - great for a fun holiday on this lively island.
The elegant Aphrodite Beach Hotel on Kalafatis Beach overlooks the sapphire Aegean. Its architecture conforms to Mykonos's traditional design with stark white and strong blue in flattering contrast. Rooms reflect this with white furniture against a softer periwinkle blue while floaty fabrics flutter at french windows and crisp, white bed linen promises peaceful sleep. All rooms have balconies most enjoying the seaview.
Plenty of activities take place, such as volleyball, tennis and basketball. Watersports are available on the beach, charged locally. The Aphrodite's large and attractive swimming pool is served by a pool bar, and guests in turn served with cocktails and snacks. Main meals are catered for by a choice of two restaurants, or lively cosmopolitan Mykonos Town is a short drive away for a night out. There is an on-site nightclub, however. So let your hair down and don't worry how to get home.

- Both hotels restaurants (Ocean & Thalassa) operate with respect for traditional Mediterranean cuisine. The Greek products are enriched by meat from our privately-owned farm, fresh lobsters and fish from the Aegean Sea.
