My sister and I have stayed at The Elena twice before and are going again in 2 weeks time. It is one of the best places we have stayed. It is spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is quiet and peaceful, a really good place to relax and re charge our batteries! I wish we could afford to go every year as Parga is our favourite destination. The apartments are a gentle stroll from the main harbour area, whereas some hotels are in a more hilly part of town. There are numerous places to eat which are all equally good( though we do love the atmosphere and friendliness at The Perivoli which fortunately for us is the closest one to our apts. There are water taxis to take you to neighbouring beaches. There are plenty of places to visit and a trip to the river Acheron/Styx is a MUST !!!!!! Can't wait to get back to my '2nd home' to the warm welcome that I know awaits me .:-)

Not a bad hotel, but let down by the extortionate prices that they charge for air conditioning (€42 per week, €84 per fortnight). Given the temperatures here, air con is not 'optional', so this is just a sneaky way for the headline price of the holiday o be held down, whilst everybody has to pay for the 'options'.
