Our opinion:
Located on the outskirts of Parga in picturesque surroundings, these studios are modern and well maintained. It is a great choice for those seeking peace and tranquility.
Located on the outskirts of Parga on a main road, in picturesque surroundings, the modern Lambrini Studios are situated at the foot of the hills. It is only a 15 minute walk to the nearest beach and 15 minutes to the centre of bustling Parga. The studios are well maintained and have their own swimming pool. Parga is a beautiful resort, with whitewashed, red-roofed village houses surrounding the picturesque harbour. For a great day our, visit Epirius or catch a boat trip to the beautiful island of Paxos. The town offers a lively atmosphere in the evenings during high season, along with a great selection of restaurants and bars.
Studios (1/2 & 1/3 persons) with twin beds (3rd bed in studio sleeping 1/3 is a foldaway bed), open plan kitchenette (two rings), a private bathroom with shower and a shared balcony or terrace with inland view.
I booked this holiday 2 days before I traveled in mid Aug 11. Having never heard of "Parga" or the "Lambrini studios" before, I was hoping to relax in the sun for a week and "chill", do some reading, without the family. Which is what I did. The studios and "New Pool" are spotless, well maintained, comfortable and command great views. Nice and quiet, except cockerels in morning (which I liked) and cars and mopeds coming up hill. (which was not that bad) Mikeys & Lambrini are friendly and helpful. I had a small problem with the shower, it was sorted out later that day. The type of service you don't get with larger hotels. Being 45 and still good on my pegs, I found walking no problem, small shop nearby with a larger one 5 mins walk away. A bar with good food next door, which shows most footie matches, on request. Beaches are more of a trek, but you have lots of choice, especially as I hired a moped for a few days. I haggled a bit with the two main hire shops, which are located on main road going in to town, and got a better price. I have experience with mopeds, would not advise getting one if you don't. Lots of places of interest, nearby, Ali Pashers Castle had great Views, Venetian Castle well worth a walk around. Further afield, I would highly rate going to the "ACHERON RIVER at Glyki, its well cool in more ways than one! You have to get your own way there, its not hard to find, 30 mins car/moped. Even travelling there is a treat, I likened it to Eire but 20*c warmer. Once there try the rafting, or river trecking, You can go for hours upstream, and see some wonderful nature and creatures. I intend to return with my 10 year old next time. The Lambrini studios are best suited for couples any age as long as you are quite active, families with children, say 7 or older because of pool. mature friends or people like me, who had a cheep"chillout" week away in the sun and totally enjoyed the experience. Parga is truly a beauty spot, best suited for couples young and old, friends and families alike. What you won't find is vomit on streets and groups of obnoxious, loud, aggressive drunks. Hope you find the review helpful, as this is my first!
