Parga at a glance

Parga is, without doubt, the loveliest resort on the mainland of Greece’s north-western Preveza region. It nestles in a small, sweeping bay between green olive groves and the sea and is a favourite among Greeks as a holiday destination too.

Holidays in Parga hold endless appeal for visitors of all ages and promise laid-back holidays with picture postcard vistas.

Famed for its charm and beauty, the resort is relatively unspoilt, with tourism remaining low key until the high season, when the cosmopolitan essence of the town brings it alive. With its cobbled streets, beautiful coloured houses draped with bougainvillea and fragrant jasmine, in addition to its Mediterranean summer weather, Parga holidays are ideally suited to discerning visitors wishing to unwind in a beautiful Greek resort with excellent amenities.

Bask in endless sunshine on Valtos Beach, visit the awe-inspiring monasteries in the sky at Meteora or stay closer to home and climb up to the Venetian castle in Parga Town – there truly is something for everyone.

A relatively well-kept secret and a treasure of an island, Parga's tourism industry thankfully remains low key which is central to its appeal. There are some stunning hotels, apartments and villas in Parga; notably Racconto Boutique Design Hotel just 900 metres from the centre of Parga.
