Our opinion:
Alia is simply furnished and is situated just a few minutes walk from Haraki seafront.
The Alia consists of 2 separate buildings varying in distance from the seafront in Haraki. The Alia 1 Studios are simply furnished and situated a few minutes walk from Haraki seafront. The Alia 2 studios provide a good standard of accommodation less that a minute's walk from the seafront and next to the main square. The Alia 1 apartments are a 2-3 minute walk away from Alia 2.
Guests will enjoy access to the swimming pool and pool bar located at the Alia 1.
Alia 1:Studios sleep 1/2 & 1/3 people with twin beds, shower, hairdryer, kitchenette with 2 ring cookers and a private terrace. Studios for 3 have one double bed and one single bed. Alia 2:Studios sleep 1/2 people with twin beds and a private balcony. One bedroom apartments sleep 2/4 people with one double bed, two single beds and a private balcony. All rooms have air conditioning (payable locally), telephone and a hairdryer.
We have stopped at Alia 1 several times - mainly in September. The rooms are basic but acceptable with plenty of hot water. The owners, George and Athina, look after you well and Athina oversees the cleaning which is usually very good with clean sheets and towels at least twice a week. You may need to empty your own bins occasionally. The pool area has plenty of beds and the pool bar provides good food and drink at reasonable prices. Their son, Pavlos, leaves a little to be desired but does not detract from a wonderful experience in a great village. Haraki itself has 4 laid back bars, perhaps a dozen restaurants, 3 mini markets, 2 car hire centres and exchange at Simons car hire - just over the road. There are no cash points - the nearest is in Lindos or Archangelos. Haraki beach is pebbly with a much better beach a short 20 minute stroll away at Agathi which also has 3 great beach bars. There are two buses which run through the village twice a day each way running from Rhodes town to Lindos. Many visitors are repeat guests to both Alia 1 and Haraki which goes to show what a wonderful holiday experience this place is.

spent two weeks in june this year the apartments are basic but ok, the resort is lovely and restfull you can visit agathi beach which is all you could want in a beach, we will be returning.

I have been to Alia 1 for the last 2 years and I love it. Haraki is a fairly quiet safe place where a single woman like myself can feel completely secure. All the bar owners and supermarket staff get to know you and are very friendly and helpful.The Alia 1 itself is lovely, with a great pool and bar and the owner George is a lovely man.There are so many places around that you can visit either by bus or a small walk.I will definitely go back
