Our opinion: The Anita Aparthotel has everything you need to guarantee a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
The well maintained Anita Aparthotel is a three building apartment hotel complex located in Ixia close to a number of tavernas and restaurants. The hotel is 5 kms from the town of Rhodes, 8 kms from the airport and 300 metres from the beach of Ialysos. These pleasant apartments are an ideal base between the resorts of Ixia and Ialysos.
Please note: This accommodation is not suitable for wheelchair users due to the number of steps at the property.

Our opinion: Basic accommodation in a good location.
The Blue Rose Apartments are set on a quiet residential side road in the resort of Ixia. The resort facilities, which include a variety of shops, mini-markets, bars and restaurants are close by. The lovely beach, which is a mixture of sand and shingle, is approximately 100 metres away, making it a great location for beach lovers. These friendly apartments are basic yet very well maintained, making it the perfect base for those seeking comfortable accommodation on a budget. The beautiful medieval Rhodes Town can be found a short taxi ride away through the harbour of Mandraki. There are quaint cobbled streets to explore along with lots of boutique-style shops within the town.

Our opinion: A basic, simple style hotel set in a quiet location.
Located off the beaten track in a quiet and secluded area of Ixia, the Lisa Hotel offers simple yet comfortable accommodation making it an ideal base for your holiday. Situated some 30 minutes from the resort of Trianda with its bars, restaurants, tavernas and shops, a similar walk in the other direction takes you to the resort of Ixia. The sand and shingle beach is a 30 minute walk away. The Lisa Hotel is down a narrow lane so torches are recommended for returning at night.

Our opinion: Great for families and couples seeking good value for money with some pleasant restaurants and the beach close at hand; a good base from which to explore other nearby resorts, including beautiful Rhodes Town.
The Anixis Apartments are located on the outskirts of the resort of Ixia and exude a warm, family-friendly atmosphere and offer good entertainment, including lively karaoke or theme nights. All apartments have a furnished balcony or terrace and are kept spotlessly clean by friendly, helpful staff. The pleasant pool area in the well-tended gardens is the ideal place to relax and soak up the sun with a handy snack bar nearby from where you can watch the children paddle in the shallow section or enjoy the play area. With video games and a pool table, there is plenty to keep slightly older children occupied too.
A couple of restaurants and tavernas can be found within a 5 minute walk and the long sandy/shingle beach is around 10 minutes away offering an excellent selection of watersports payable locally. By night, Ixia takes on a cosmopolitan feel as holidaymakers throng the bars and restaurants in town and a little further away is beautiful, medieval Rhodes Town with its pretty harbour and quaint cobbled streets - worth taking a short taxi ride to get there for exploring the shops and cafes.

The Solemar Hotel boasts an excellent location on the main coast road running across the north of the island, only a couple of minute's walk from nearby bars, supermarkets and restaurants with the pebble and sand beach five minute's walk away. With attractive, flowered, balconies the rooms are compact. Meals are taken looking out to sea in the bright and airy, recently refurbished dining room. The Solemar Hotel is ideal for families and couples wishing to explore the island but wanting a base close to local amenities.

The Bel Air is a good value, comfortable hotel situated in the famous bay of Ixia. It sits directly facing an excellent sandy beach with majestic mountains behind it. The area is known for its stunning scenery and fabulous beaches with crystal clear sea. Here water sporting opportunities abound and boat trips and excursions are a regular feature. A few mintues walk will find an array of shops, restaurants and tavernas.
Rooms are spacious and modern with all you need for a restful holiday including balconies many of which have views out over the beautiful bay. On days when you don't feel like venturing out to explore the locale, you'll find a lovely, newly renovated swimming pool, an enticing expanse of turquoise sparkling in the sun, with the inevitable sun loungers and parasols surrounding it. Refreshments are available from the snack bar, and there is also a mini market for any last minute holiday extras.
Children won't be bored either: they have their own pool and a playground to charge around in, and the entertainment programme aims to please every member of the family. But favourite of all is ice-cream time, in the morning and again in the afternoon when cookies also appear. Luckily, you can hire a bike and set off to pedal off all those extra calories while checking out the pretty coves and villages around the coast. When it comes to food, a buffet is laid out three times a day and there is also an a la carte restaurant for dinner, after which you can adjourn to the lobby bar for late drinks.

Set in attractive gardens overlooking the beach lies the Olympic Palace Hotel & Studios. This well established hotel offers an assortment of facilities. Guests have the option of taking a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool or relaxing in the sauna and for those who still like to keep fit on holiday there is a well equipped gym and also a tennis court. If you are looking to really unwind, a massage can also be booked (payable locally).
This child friendly hotel offers a whole host of benefits for families including a paddling pool, playground, early meals and high-chairs in the restaurants. For peace and mind, baby-sitting services are also available in the hotel grounds which can prove to be very useful if you wish to take a break from the kids' to pamper yourself. Our opinion: A smart, comfortable hotel in a lovely spot.
The elegant Mareblue Cosmopolitan Hotel enjoys fabulous views over the sea from its vantage point on the coast. For a cooling dip, though, the hotel pool is even closer in the grounds surrounded by bright blue parasols and sun loungers. Sporty types can test themselves on the tennis courts or around the table tennis table, or cool off in the games room. The children's mini-club and playground keeps youngsters occupied in the meantime. Sight-seeing in the area includes the Colossos of Rhodes and the Acropolis of Rhodesis.
The air-conditioned, sound-proofed rooms are simply but smartly furnished, a comfortable private space with your own balcony for aperitifs al fresco. A buffet restaurant and on-site snack bar keep hunger pangs at bay and the day-long entertainment programme will occasionally bring the day to a close with a live show.
