It is a quiet and relaxing location. Lazy days can be spent around the swimming pool and the beach is a 15 minute walk away. The rooms are either in the main building or in blocks that are situated around the pool. This family friendly hotel is ideal for couples and families looking for a quiet relaxing break with comfortable accommodation. The resort of Kalithea with its sprinkling of bars, restaurants and tavernas is just over a 5 minute walk. The capital of the island, Rhodes Town, with its historic yet cosmopolitan charm, is a 10 minute drive. The other direction takes you to lively Faliraki with its abundance of nightlife. Please note: This accommodation is unsuitable for those with walking difficulties due to the number of steps.

Our opinion: An excellent choice for families with children and couples looking for a great place to stay in Kalithea.The four star Kresten Palace Hotel is built in a modern style combined with traditional Rhodian architecture and set in extensive gardens. It is situated on a panoramic hill by the sea with a private beach, just 6 kms from Rhodes Town and Faliraki and 3 kms from the picturesque Koskinou village. A regular bus service connects the hotel with Rhodes Town. This is an ideal place for relaxing by the pool or cooling off in the water. There's also a volleyball court for guests enjoyment. A variety of facilities, animation and entertainment are also at gusets disposal. All rooms include private facilities, balconies or terraces with magnificent views, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV with music channels, mini fridge, safety deposit box, hair dryer and air-conditioning (June-September). This hotel makes a perfect choice for anyone looking for a beach holiday with plenty of amenities on-site

A short walk will bring you to a sandy/shingle cove and a small selection of shops, restaurants and bars can be found just a few minutes walk from the property, however there is little need to leave the complex when there is such a great selection of restaurants available. The hotel offers excellent local and international cuisine including Greek, Chinese and French, as well as fantastic leisure facilities for people of all ages - kids, parents and grandparents!
