Our opinion: This hotel is ideal for couples and families looking for comfortable accommodation in a quiet resort with a selection of bars and restaurants in the resort centre close by.The hotel is situated just off the main road of Kolymbia. On the outskirts of the village approximately 1 km from the main centre, about 23 kms from Rodos town, 12 kms from Faliraki and 6 kms from Golf Afandou. The distance between Hotel Loutanis and the beautiful beach of Afandou is about 600 metres, and to Kolymbia beach about 700 metres. The hotel also offers free minibus service to the nearest beach. The hotel was built in 1990 and completely renovated in 2001 and now consists of 3 buildings (main building and 2 side buildings) with reception, bar, lounge, TV-area, restaurant, safe boxes, 2 pools with umbrellas and chairs, children's pool, snack pool bar and children's playground.
Golden Odyssey
Our opinion: A great value hotel away from the resort centre - perfect for a relaxing break.The Golden Odyssey Hotel is situated in Kolymbia, between Faliraki and Lindos. It is made up of 8 buildings where each room has a balcony - making a delightful place to sit and read a book once you have finished your sunbathing. The swimming pool is a central attraction with a shaded area perfect for snoozing in the warmth without burning, with the main bar on hand to keep a steady flow of refreshing drinks coming your way. If you've not quite forgotten home, you can catch up with the UK news on the satellite TV. Active guests might take a turn on the hotel's tennis court or the table tennis table. About two kilometers away is the beautifully clean, sandy beach of Kolymbia, and the centre of Kolymbia town with a few shops, restaurants and bars. If you don't fancy the walk, a regular shuttle service runs between the hotel and the beach to ensure you don't miss a moment of the fun.
Koala Hotel
Our opinion: A good choice for a peaceful, relaxing holiday amid pretty environs.The friendly, family-run Koala Hotel is situated on the main road through Kolymbia in a peaceful environment full of greenery and flowers and within easy walking distance of the centre of the resort with its restaurants, bars and other attractions. The hotel itself offers a lovely, large swimming pool with separate children's area and large sunbathing terrace, all served by a pool bar offering refreshments throughout a long day's sun worshipping. Table tennis and pool are available in the games room and when you get really peckish, there is also a roomy restaurant and attractive main bar from where room service is available. Speaking of rooms, they are spacious and comfortably furnished, each with a balcony for quiet moments al fresco. Please note: hotel is not recommended for those with walking difficulties/ wheelchairs.
Marathon Hotel
The Marathon Hotel is situated 400 metres from the beach in the resort of Kolymbia. Kolymbia is located in the middle of the island of Rhodes making it the perfect base for those that want to hire a car and explore. The hotel consists of 115 rooms and a restaurant located around the swimming pool area. All guestrooms have balcony views of the courtyard, garden or pool and contain televisions with cable channels and fax machines. Other features include a poolside bar and a children's club. There is a bus stop for Rhodes Town, Lindos and other destinations nearby, as well as mini markets and shops all around the area.
Anavadia Hotel
Our opinion: The Anavadia Hotel is located on one of the most picturesque resorts of the island, Kolymbia, only a few kilometres away from Faliraki.The Anavadia Hotel was completely renovated during 2009 and 2010, and is located on the outskirts of the peaceful resort of Kolymbia. The Anavadia hotel offers a vast amount of facilities in each room including a large balcony or terrace, direct access telephone, individually operated air conditioning, satellite TV, bath with hydro massage and a separate shower. Guests are also welcome to use wireless internet and a safety box with an extra charge. A 10-15 minute walk will take you to the main centre and it is just 650 meters to the main beach. The hotel is ideal for those seeking relaxation as it is in a peaceful and tranquil location. Due to remote location, this accommodation is not suitable for guest with walking difficulties or wheel chair users.

Our opinion: Set in beautiful surroundings, this is a lovely hotel with very hospitable staff, tasty cuisine and a wide range of facilities all ensuring a great holiday.Hotel Lydia Maris is located on the east coast of Rhodes, in Kolymbia, 25km from Rhodes town, 7km from the International golf course (18 holes) of Afandou and 400 metres from the beach. This resort is set in idyllic green surroundings of 24,000sqm of gardens with plenty of plants and flowers such as roses, jasmine, bougainvilliers, night flower etc. It is designed in a village style consisting of a main building and twelve small buildings of bungalows and hotel rooms.
