Our opinion: A comfortable hotel with a super friendly atmosphere.
The Bayside Hotel is situated at the water's edge of Ialysos beach, on a private road between the popular resorts of Trianda and Kremasti, where a number of bars, tavernas and restaurants are to be found. A 15-minute drive will bring you to historical Rhodes Old Town with its abundance of market stalls, tavernas and eateries and a number of beautiful beaches, each with a character of its own are to be found around the coastline of the northern tip of Rhodes.
If all you want is to chill out and relax, though, the Bayside won't disappoint. The centre of attraction is the fabulous swimming pool with the pool bar in the middle. There are plenty of sunbeds and parasols around the edge too, for a day spent taking in the rays, while the children can play happily in the playground. Rooms are simply furnished, but very spacious and clean and provide all that is necessary for a comfortable stay. Each has a private balcony most of them with lovely views out to sea.
The hotel's attractive restaurant gets the evening off to a good start with a selection of enticing dishes and themed Greek nights, bingo, quizzes and karaoke are frequent features in the weekly programme.
Please note : Accommodation is located under flight path so fairly frequent aircraft noise can be expected.
