Our opinion:
A comfortable standard of accommodation, close to the shops and the beach.
The Afroditi Studios are set on a hillside close to the main Lindos village square, offering a comfortable standard of accommodation. Many shops, bars and restaurants can be reached within a five minute stroll through the winding, cobbled streets. Lindos is a charming village which is ideal for those seeking a traditional Greek holiday and plenty of boutique shops and cafes to explore. Sample some beautiful local cuisine in the many restaurants of the town. The stunning golden beach is a steep downhill walk, approximately five minutes away, offering clear turquoise waters and picturesque views - the ideal place for beach lovers.
Studios sleep 1/2, 1/3 & 2/4 people with twin beds, an open plan kitchenette with 2 ring cooker, a private bathroom with shower and some have a shared patio/terrace area or a private balcony (one studio has neither) with inland view (studios that sleep 4 have an upper wooden sleeping platform that is accessed via a steep ladder style staircase). Two bedroom apartments sleep a maximum of 6 people with twin beds, an open plan kitchenette, a private bathroom with shower and a shared patio/terrace area with inland view.
The Afroditi is in an excellent location; 30 seconds walk from the main square of Lindos, at the top of the path that leads to the beach, but far away enough from the action that makes it peaceful! The rooms are large and typical Greek accommodation, very basic but clean and tidy. There is a two ring hob, kitchen utensils, glasses and tea and coffee facilities.
The air-conditioning is 50 euros a week and the remote is hired from the shop adjacent. There is also a restaurant next door which serves Greek food at good prices, with a beautiful view over the bay. While they do have music on, it cannot be heard in the rooms. I would definitely stay at the Afroditi again; the year after I stayed my parents made sure to book a room here after seeing it and being impressed. They will be returning to the Afroditi this August as well. Enjoy!

Stayed at Afroditi Studios in May 2010, we have the perfect apartment overlooking the sea couldnt have asked for better. We have stayed in many apartments in Lindos over the years and we really enjoyed staying here - very close to all amenities and the beach as well as the Oasis bar and restaurant - Rockos and family really took care of us with stunning views over the bay. We have booked for the same apartments again in Septmeber 2011 and just cant wait to go back. The apartments are very basic but clean but what more do you need - Lindos is the place we return to year after year.

Recently returned from our second stay at the Afroditi Studios which are in an excellent location just 5 mins walk to the beach and 3 minutes into town. Studios are spacious and clean. Kitchen is very basic and two people are provided with only 2 cups, 2 glasses, 2 cereal bowls etc etc. The kitchen would benefit greatly by having a toaster and basic microwave and the outside terraces by having umbrellas to sit under. Air conditioning cost in July is 55 Euros/week which is expensive, but is a must if you want to sleep at night!!

Lindos is our second home and we have been visiting, more on than off for 20 years. The Afroditi Studios are in a fabby location for a total Lindos chillout experience! Close to the beach, the village centre, and if you're not so knackered, a great centre from which to go exploring! We love the basic but clean and unfussy style of the accommodation. Like Johnsmith333 says, the kitchen is very basic, if not a little too basic. No tin opener and only two unmatching glasses (for water, fruit juice, wine, and anything else you'd probably want in a glass) but musn't grumble because the pros vastly outweigh the cons. Would dearly love to tackle the communal garden as it seems, literally, to have gone to seed!! I hope it retains its uniqueness and charm and would always choose to go back there.

We stayed at the Afroditi Sudios in August for the 3rd year running. It is close to the main square and have everything you need in a basic Lindos studio. There is no toaster in the room but there is a Taverna that sells breakfast next door. We will stay at the Afroditi again on our next trip. Air Con 90 euros for 2 weeks.

stayed here in May 2011 - the accommodation is typical Greek/Rhodes/Lindos budget. No problems encountered. Close to Lindos amenities but quiet. Wouldn't argue with anything said in other reviews.
